Even gods are sometimes forgotten when people stop seeing their value. 🖤
So imagine being human.
People may celebrate you when you're useful, admire you when you're successful, and appreciate you when you have something to offer.
But time changes everything.
Your appearance changes.
Your position changes.
Your usefulness changes.
And sometimes, people's perception of your worth changes with them.
That's why your value can never depend entirely on how others see you.
Learn to value yourself before the world decides your value for you.
Because people may change their opinion of you with time...
But your worth should never change with their opinion. 🖤

💭 Comment “MY WORTH” if you're learning to value yourself without seeking validation.
📌 Save this as a reminder: your worth isn't determined by someone else's perception.
🔁 Share this with someone who needs to hear it today.

Who has ever truly been good at goodbye? 🖤 Some words don’t end conversations. They end versions of us.❤️

Anything But Goodbye

If you ever stop loving me,
Never say goodbye.

Leave me with the silence,
with the questions,
with a thousand unfinished thoughts,
anything but goodbye.

Tell me…
Who has ever been good at goodbye?

Who has ever loved so deeply
and walked away without leaving
a part of themselves behind?

Because I could survive the emptiness
you leave behind, but not the certainty
that you’ll never come back.

Hope may break my heart a thousand times,
but it still breathes.

Goodbye never does.
So if this is where our story must end,
hold my hand until the last second
pretends to be my forever.

Then leave. Without looking back.
Without saying a word.

The saddest part isn’t losing you.

It’s knowing that one day I’ll become a love story you used to tell, like a song you once couldn’t live without… until silence became easier than hearing it again.

Not every soulmate gets a forever. Some only get one unforgettable night.

UNTIL DAWN STEALS YOU AWAY

Kiss me when it’s dark, where shadows are kind enough to hide the ache in my eyes and silence remembers every
promise daylight could not keep.
Hold me as though dawn has forgotten our names, for love has always belonged to the hours where broken hearts speak without words.

Let your heartbeat quiet every fear I’ve carried until even the night grows jealous of the way we belong to one another. Let every unspoken apology dissolve between our lips, and every goodbye lose its courage before the morning finds us.

If this night is all we’re ever promised, let it be enough.
Let your lips become the prayer my soul has searched for through every lonely season.
And when dawn steals you away once more, may it never steal the memory of the kiss that made forever feel within reach.

If your heart could finish this sentence, what would it say?

Continue the poem in your own words. Write about love, loss, heartbreak, healing, or simply write to yourself. There are no rules, just honesty. 🖤

If you’d like, you can use my line as your starting point:

“Good at goodbye, but my heart still lingers where it once belonged.”

I hope this inspires you. Your poem could inspire me or someone else who needs those words today.

This is my very first writing prompt, and I’m genuinely looking forward to reading your work. I’ll be sharing your poems on my story and will repost, so if you post yours, please tag me @_unresolvedfeelings_ use my Hashtag #UnresolvedFeelingsPrompt or comment your poem in the comment section and invite or tag a friend or fellow poet to join in too.

Let’s fill this space with words that make someone feel a little less alone. 🖤

Some weights leave no bruises, only silent battles no one else can see. (Poem in the caption too)

This piece is for the hearts that carried more than they ever spoke about, for those who smiled while quietly falling apart, and for everyone who discovered that survival is its own kind of strength.

If these words found a part of you that you’ve kept hidden, know that you’re not alone. And I love you and know that I am here for you❤️

(The Weight That Nearly Broke Me)

The weight that nearly broke me was never the world upon my shoulders. It was every word I swallowed to keep the peace, every tear I hid behind a borrowed smile, every goodbye I carried long after the person who caused it had forgotten my name. Some burdens arrive without hands to lift them, asking only to be endured.

I wore my silence like armor until it became too heavy to bear. Every disappointment found a home within me, every shattered hope another stone stitched into my heart. Still, I walked as though no one would notice the cracks growing beneath every careful step.

Yet somewhere between surrender and sunrise, I discovered that even broken things can learn to breathe again. The weight did not disappear, but my soul grew stronger than the sorrow it carried. And if I stand here now with scars instead of certainty, it is because the very thing that nearly broke me also taught me how impossible it is to destroy a heart that refuses to stop loving.

There are wounds that bleed.
Then there are the ones that remember.
.
.
.
< Love Left It’s Mark >
Some loves are not remembered.
They linger beneath the skin, waiting for the dark to call them home.

You left a handprint on my heart.
It never faded.
Some nights I press against the ache
just to remember how your absence feels.
Love made a home in the places
I swore no one would ever touch,
then left every door open
for longing to move in.

Only in dreams do we
forget who walked away.
Only there do your eyes devour me
without guilt, without goodbye.
I let you ruin my sleep
because it is kinder than waking.
I’d rather burn in the fire of wanting
than freeze in a life
where you never wanted me back.

If love is a sin,
then let heaven keep its distance.
I have spent too many nights
kneeling before memories
that still know exactly
where to kiss a wound
without ever closing it.

For the ones who love across the miles. ✨

In the space after goodbye, I chose peace over pain; some goodbyes don’t break us, they teach us how to breathe again. 💙
