My first MAP48
@maplatform

48hrs before the above content these films did not exist!! We met @53two on Friday at 7pm where teams were picked at random. We were given a line that had to be included in the script and a prop that had to be featured. Then on Sunday 7pm they were screened for an audience and a panel of judges.

Congratulations to all participating artists! Especially proud to be a part of #teamcalendar. Our short ‘Flipper’ won ‘Best Use of Prop’ 🎉

You will be able to watch our film soon and VOTE for your favourite. All 7 of the films this year were top quality and still mind blowing that all were made in 48hrs.

Super happy with my wee team!

Shout out to these three, you wee stars ⭐️ to @madebytheonedude for your writing ✒️ @natasha.davis_1 for being the best side kick on the day 🖤

See you at the next one 🎥

That time again where we create a film from absolutely nothing in just 48hrs! It’s such a great weekend and if you don’t know about it then WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!

The end of #map48_9 and it's been an amazing 48 hours! Honestly loved all the films that came out of the event and can't believe how well things turned out. Graciously accepting awards for best Edit and best director - and couldn't have asked for a better team than this to share it with #TeamLamp 🍄

Post take 🎬 2 this time with context 🤣

Warning lost of well deserved thank you

Wanted to say a huge thank you to @offcutmcr and @53Two and @dabrendy for putting together an amazing platform to nurture new writing and give directors and actors a rich playground to collaborate.

The standard of talent was incredible, congratulations to everyone who took part. Proud of everyone. ❤️💃💃🎭

Might be biased, but the MCR arts community are an incredible bunch of creatives. 🎭 great bunch to be competing alongside.

Team Subtle Power what can I say. @melissakarenparker1 @cheryleehouston @raywb88 our aim was to make people think and I think about their perception of disability, love and abuse of power.
Job well done, that shows the power theatre has to make people question their views of society.
Thank you to everyone who voted for us.
Thank you also for nominating me for the role of best actor 💃💃.
You are only ever as good as those you are performing and working with. ❤️❤️

OFFCUT 2024 - ‘FOLLOWERS’ ✝️🔨🍏💚😇🤳😎

Had an absolute blast taking part in this years @offcutmcr working with the most lovely team on #followers . Great to have a chance to do more comedy and really have fun with it all - Super chuffed to have come runners up in #Group4 amongst a talented bunch of creatives and cracking plays! Thank you to each and everyone of you, who supported us throughout our crazy journey and a special thanks to @dabrendy and team @53two for providing such an explorative and supportive space for creatives to come together, showcase their work, share fresh ideas and keep the joy of theatre alive and accessible for all - with a dash of friendly competition. 💜💙

So for now, it’s time to pack up my ring light, bid farewell to #bratsummer and trending TikTok dances, as I hang up the Pink Blazer to rest. Though, keep your eyes peeled 👀 you never know, this may not be the last you’ve seen of ‘Amy Jones’…

➡️ Swipe to see how ‘wee Lorraine’ celebrates post-show. No wonder she was struggling to make those Fridays😅🤷‍♀️😂
