Back to back to back to back. 4 days of running, and it feels good to be finding that consistency again. 🙌

Today’s little extra motivation? A fresh pair of kicks.

Took my new New Balance 1080 v15s out for an easy 3 miles, and I loved that first run. Soft, comfortable, with just enough bounce. I could plod along without pushing the pace exactly the feeling I want for recovery days.

Shout-out to Runner’s High! I’ve been going there for about 20 years, from Metuchen to Freehold. Rob and the staff have always been great to me.

But today’s thought goes beyond running shoes: give yourself something to look forward to.

Try a new walking route, use a different piece of equipment at the gym, or make plans to grab a meal somewhere you’ve wanted to try.

A little something fresh can put some energy back into your day.

Walk, run, bike, hike, swim do whatever makes you feel good. Carry that feeling into the rest of your day.

Catch you tomorrow! 👊
