SPACES is a shared listening experience.

For a few hours, we gather in a room to listen to music together — without phones, without conversation, without distractions.

Music isn’t background here.
Listening is the activity.

SPACES creates a focused, collective environment where attention is shared and presence matters. Capacity is limited to keep the experience intimate.

12 things I learned this year…

Let them underestimate you.

Isolation isn’t cured by romance.

When people imply you’re not intelligent, it says far more about them than it does about you. You aren’t really listening anyway. Sharing something vulnerable, like having had brain surgery, shouldn’t invite judgment, but when it does, remember it reflects their limitations, not yours.

In London, everyone has a roommate for life. A bedroom with an ensuite costs the same as a studio apartment in Toronto. WTF

Isolation isn’t cured by reproduction.

Never complain in front of coworkers.

If you don’t have kids, they’ll treat you like one.

Reminder: talk less, listen more.

Hola, mi nombre es Brittany.

Always finish your gel manicure with a top coat.

Getting into a club or party isn’t as cool as producing large-scale events and securing the bag.

Winning quietly is still winning. You don’t need to announce it for validation. Stack the résumé in silence.

There no place like home. London I’ll see you in February 🇬🇧

It was a long time coming, but my Easy Financial commercial is now live!!!

What an AWESOME shoot to be a part of. They had @rbkhart and myself floating on a bed, after filling an entire apartment set with water! So much fun!

Caribbean Tapes Vol. 1 is an intimate dance party curated by Good Creatures, the stage name of Venezuelan artist Leo Zambrano.

The night is rooted in analog sound, reviving the spirit of Caribbean music through cassette tapes.

Volume 1 will delve into different eras of Salsa Brava - the raw, powerful sound of the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

Caribbean Tapes is my way of celebrating my community, my sonic heritage, and the beauty that survives migration and hardship - all of it through the movement of bodies remembering where they came from.

So, let’s move, connect, and remember together.

As some of our regulars around Hunter know we closed the shop for a week at the beginning of July to celebrate the wedding of our dear barista Jacquie and her amazing husband John.

I know it took us a bit, but please enjoy a few choice shots of the hunter crew (in our nicest/least coffee covered outfits) and the happy couple!

Wedding dump.

What a weekend. My friend and sister is freaking married!!! It was a weekend of hard work, laughter, happy tears and most of all love. We miss a lot of important events as performers and I'm so grateful to have been able to be a part of @jacquelion and @johncarrcook 's day. They are truly special people who do so much for their friends and family and getting to support them in their day was an honor. I can't wait to keep celebrating you both in Toronto 🩷👰🏻💐
