This year really humbled me. I used to mainly shoot portrait photography back in the day. I used to feel so comfortable and confident when shooting but this year getting back into the game I felt so rusty. I had to really go back to the basics. Learn the exposure triangle, learn new brands. I used to shoot canon but switching to lumix and Fuji has been a challenge to say the least.
Editing was a breeze I used to be a photoshop master, but with all the new updates and not using it for years it was almost like I was learning to read again Imao
My goal for 2026 is to book more portrait style work. I can’t wait to get out there more and really step out of my comfort zone. Here are some of my favorite photoshoots from this year. 🙏🏻

A boy, his board and his surf buddies.
This sunset was by far the best I have ever witnessed. It was one of those it’s so beautiful I wanted to cry type of sunsets lmao but truly stunning. Don’t be afraid to shoot directly into the sun lol you never know what you might get out of it.

All photos were straight out of camera using my sunset recipe and my B&W Lightroom preset with some crop and leveling adjustments. Enjoy 🙏🏻

Graveyard shifts really do something else to you. lol

The stunning Castillo de Chapultepec (Chapultepec Castle) 🏰.
Every detail of this place was breathtaking. Imagine waking up to this everyday to some fresh coffee and a panecito.
To think we only spent a little over an hour here. I can’t wait to go back and have more time to appreciate it all.
