Well there it is folks!

After months on the back burner and being neglected for other projects and priorities, a whole week of grinding on the vfx and color has yielded the amazing assembled edit of DON'T TOUCH THE BONE!

I was up super late or early into the morning combing all the BTS footage so I think we'll be able to screen the film along with the MAKING OF Documentary at this November's @movieknightofficial !!

Just a few minor tweaks left to call this complete with Jack's vision but otherwise, happy to say we'll be screening this soon!

Thanks to all the amazing and talented folks for being apart of this fever dream of a short. I promise you're gonna love ❤️ this one 😀 💀 ☠️

We started this script in April, went thru tons of late nights re writing furiously to get it to where it is and we're so honored to have been recognized for our efforts at this year's GenreBlast ❤️.

Big thank you to all our friends who have read this script so far and sent us feedback and encouragement along the way! There's seriously a great story here.

Big shout out to @greenlight_acting giving us a space to hear the early draft read by seasoned professionals back in June! That helped us so much.

"SYNESTIA" is a sci fi horror about Ally Rogers...a flawed survivor of an alien abduction and the collision between her and others in a deeply human story about trauma, obsession, identity and ultimately, healing.

Written by @lucid_images and @juliekashmanian

This script is in pre production and slated for Q1 2027 production. 👽

@genreblast DAY 3!

Sorry we missed Day 2 😪

Some really killer films today and even more to see tomorrow!!

Some big standouts were @totalpartykillfilm !! And Dean Bertram's movie "Halloween Bird" !! Also @mikelwisler and Diana Porter's "Proxy" I also really liked Tim Schwagel's "Blossom Needs A Ride" 😀

Honestly, haven't seen a bad movie yet... so many good films and not enough time to talk to all these super awesome filmmakers. Really looking forward to seeing Looky Loo 2 and @vrowen tomorrow for Do Not Rewind! See you guys there!

Time to throw out a new poster courtesy of the super talented @rafanorio !!!

Last night we got the notification that we're accepted to the lucky 13th @filmquest !!! Our script ranked up in the top 130 unproduced feature screenplays, of which over 1000 were submitted this year!!

I know we still have some work to do, but hats off to co writer in crime, @juliekashmanian !! Take a bow dude. This was a big one to crack on our first go round.

Synestia is a sci-fi / horror about a woman abducted by aliens that seeks to find validation anywhere she can find it, while struggling against a fraying psychosis and unrelenting creeping dread. We're aiming for an early 2027 production window so stay tuned and follow along for more info!

Writer / Producer / Director: @lucid_images
Starring: Julie Kashmanian as Ally Rogers

More cast announcements when we get further in development!!
