BBQ season is officially calling☀️🔥

Spring is here, the weather’s warming up and Scott’s been firing up the BBQ!

His latest recipe on the grill - Charcoal-grilled chicken, seasoned with Scott’s signature Rib Rub and finished with a generous glaze of his BBQ Sauce. Smoky, sticky and packed with flavour.

Wow!! Thank you to the amazing Tannum/Boyne/Gladstone/Calliope community for your incredible support of our version of Connor's Run!!

A brilliant (albeit very warm and humid 🥵) morning to walk and run for paediatric brain cancer research.

The vibes were high, some blistering paces from our younger runners, and plenty of yummy breakfast enjoyed by all 😁

An enormous thank you to all who helped and donated 💰 and breakfast contributions 🥓🍳🥖🧁🍰
- especially for the farm fresh eggs from Builyan residents, John Austen and Barb McKee 🫶

Cam Coleman is joining the cause.

For the rest of the season, Cam will also be donating $100 for every passing and rushing TD he scores to the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation.

Together, we’ve already raised almost $6,000 supporting American and Australian childhood brain cancer research and families affected by it.

7 years ago today Rory completed 68 weeks of chemotherapy to treat his brain cancer. Our good friend @eglintonnicole sent 68 balloons to celebrate 🥳

Feeling so very grateful that Rory hasn't required any further cancer treatment to date 🙏

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Tannum Main Beach (the grassy bit) on Sunday morning. Key info:
* Registration $10 per person from 6am
* 10km event starts at 6.30am
* 3.5km event at 7am
* Free lollies 🍬 at each turnaround

Recently missed the 2026 Connor’s Run as I was away so found myself reflecting on photos from 2025 Connor’s Run🤍 love this organisation and the wonderful work they do!! Loved getting the chance to do some photography for this incredible foundation @rcdfoundation

Yep, Connor’s Run delivered again 💥

A huge effort from The Physiosports Group crew, with Tahlia and Milla taking on the 9.6km, and Will, Nicola, Ollie, Steph and Lucy getting through the full 18.8km.

The rest of the team was waiting at the finish, helping tired bodies at the Physiosports tent and in the VIP tent, and soaking up everything that makes this day so good.

We’ve been connected with the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation for many years, so Connor’s Run is always a special one for our team.

Well done to everyone who ran, volunteered, donated, cheered and got behind another brilliant day.

And while we’re still reminiscing about Connor’s Run, there’s still time to get involved.

Your Way Any Day runs for the whole month of September, anywhere in the world. Run, walk, ride, swim or choose your own way to move and help raise funds for paediatric brain cancer.

Connor’s Run might be done for another year, but there’s still time to make a difference.
