With all this talk about Justin Gainey, we figured it was a good time to pull some highlights from his junior year! A 2-time state champion and 2-time player of the year, he was an unbelievable leader on the court! His jersey is one of three boys basketball jerseys retired at Greensboro Day!

Back in 2005, I acquired a Jerricho Cotchery game worn jersey from his 2004 rookie season with the NY Jets - collecting game worn memorabilia was still becoming a thing. But just like that, Pack Pieces was born and the journey had began.

Each piece tells a unique story. The common denominator, each ties back to the red and white of NC State. Throughout professional sports history, you can find #packpro nuggets just about everywhere - this collection strives to highlight it.

Jerricho was my guy. He caught passes for the Wolfpack (2000-03) from No. 17, QB Philip Rivers, was tough as nails, put it on the line every game for his teammates, cared more about the W versus racking up the stats (he has those too) which that translated well into the NFL. What better piece to start with!?

I look forward to sharing this collection in new and creative ways in 2025 - there is a continued opportunity for community here, a place that connects us all while paying homage to Wolfpack lore - your support is always greatly appreciated - been at this for 20 years, it’s time we pull the curtain back a bit. 🫡🐺
