21 ♥️

How is that even possible? I swear I blinked.

For 21 years I’ve watched you grow into the most incredibly smart, caring, compassionate, adventurous and unapologetically YOU person. You truly don’t care what anyone thinks, and I hope you never lose that. If I could go back, I’d name you Ray after your daddy…. You are your father and I’m so lucky you inherited all his traits…. Although my running ability and stick thin legs- lol you’re welcome. I get credit for that!

Because I was a young mom, I feel like we kind of grew up together. And somewhere along the way, you became so much more than my daughter… you became one of my very best friends.

My adventure buddy.
My running partner.
My mother.
My son’s mother.
My organizer.
My house cleaner. 😂
My personal driver. 😂
Hell, my landscaper 😂😂
And somehow, the person who keeps MY life together.

You are my go-to girl, my sidekick, my built-in best friend and honestly… my everything Ella Anne!

I couldn’t be prouder of the woman you’ve become, and I can’t wait to see where this crazy, beautiful life takes you. Keep smiling and correcting my grammar!

Happy 21st birthday, my girl. ❤️ I love you more than you’ll ever know.

August….. you were a LOT ♥️

Overwhelmed. Proud. Happy. Sad. Excited. A little lost. A little relieved. Basically… all the feelings.

Ella and Will are both off to college, and Oliver got smart and decided to run cross country. Our home is officially a ton quieter .🥹

I’m not going to lie… I miss the noise, the chaos, the full house and the constant coming and going. But I’m also so incredibly proud watching these kids grow into their own people and chase what’s next.

And on the bright side… we’re saving a small fortune on laundry detergent, our water bill, water softener salt (for those who know me) and groceries. I won’t miss the little dirt trials from my favorite landscaper or the empty fridge and all the chalk from your million pull ups all over our gym floor (Will) 😂

So here’s to August—the month that reminded me that sometimes the hardest part of being a mom is realizing you did your job well.

Bittersweet, beautiful, chaotic and full of change. Now I cry.

Wouldn’t trade it for anything. ❤️

Road tripping with the best 5 people I could find… luckily, they’re mine. ❤️

An old car, Wisconsin backroads, a trip to Al Capone’s Hideaway and a whole lot of laughs. 🚙😂

No real plan. Just the right people.
10/10 would do it all over again. 🤍

So proud of these boys at the LCT (League Championship Tournament) this weekend! One of the toughest 7th grade tournaments around, and they earned it. Watching Oliver and his teammates compete showed what great basketball looks like — unselfish, tough, and together. They didn’t win because of one player, they won because they played as a team. This is winning the right way. 🏀🤍CONGRATS BOYS ON YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENT!
