THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT friends, I am conducting another bold experiment at 1pm Pacific time (4pm Eastern) this coming Friday, July 17. In conjunction with @rddc_official we are going to be running a #TOMICALimitedVintage And #TOMICALimitedVintageNEO ONLY live auction on the streaming platform Whatnot. Along with a couple of giveaways, we will have items starting as low as $20. They go up from there, of course. Cars (and trucks...) will all be mint in original packaging. There will be single cars, there will be ties to Japanese media properties, there will be Japanese and European vehicles, there will be civilian and police cars, and we will have both obvious and obscure models. and I will be on one of the microphones to make sure that things have a halfway decent chance of getting pronounced correctly. I selected everything the other day, and we have plenty of Toyota, Nissan/Datsun, Honda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Daihatsu, Isuzu, Hino, and others. Cars, trucks, vans. And diorama sets! they come with an exclusive painted color car as well as figures and props. I think we might even have a copy of the TLV book from a couple of years ago. Just search for RDDC_market in what not, get your name down now and sign up for the reminder, and watch the cars roll across the screen. if you have never gotten your mitts on a TLV Model, this is a fantastic opportunity to give this fabulous diecast brand a try. Most of their vehicles come with Diecast, metal body and chassis, soft tires, correct wheels, or hubcap style wheels, along with clear lights, separate chrome bumpers, if correct for the car, sprung, suspension, and lots more. The brand is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Come on, it's a Friday afternoon, what else are you going to do with that paycheck? Pay bills? Please. auction starts promptly at 1 PM, and lasts until the battery and Mike's phone dies. Usually that's two hours, sometimes 2 1/2. *PLEASE NOTE the cars pictured in this post are all TLV/TLVN but are not necessarily indicative of what will be offered on the day. #jdkshow

THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT. SET YOUR ALARM! JUNE 30 1PM PACIFIC ON WHATNOT Friends, a couple of weeks ago I did a little experiment involving @rddc_official and WhatNot. All things considered, it went pretty well. Lots of people asking about Minigt, mostly from people late to the show who had missed the couple of dozen MiniGT we put up. But it cleared out a little bit of room. So Mike and I once again spent the day in my storage unit, plucking and pricing things that have not seen the light of day in sometime. Full disclosure: it is the usual ragtag assortment of hard to find overseas brands that you have come to expect from me, although there does seem to be rather a lot of @minigtofficial @minigt64 goodies therein this time--some in the American blister, some in the overseas style small box. There are a ome other acrylic case goodies, Tomica regular and first-run color pairs, and more. How much more? Enough to fill two of these beautiful IKEA bags. These bags have a name: Frakta. (Google Translate tells me that "frakta" translates to "carry"... clever so-and-sos.) two of them were sufficiently heavy tonight that we had to put them on a rolling cart to get them from storage out to Mike's car, because neither of us wanted to put our backs out using just the handles. as a bonus, Mike will be hosting the show from his shop in Chandler Fashion Square, Mall, which I am told actually has reliable Internet. Unlike my storage unit. It should be smoother going this time out. (all technical issues may be directed to Mike @rddc_official ...) so this show is going to happen tomorrow, June 30, at 1 PM Pacific time. That's 4 PM Eastern. I know it's short notice, but, well, things sort of took on a life of their own. I hope you can join us. I don't have a direct link for the show, but if you are signed up to what not, you can search for his name, @RDDC_official , and join in the fun. I know that Mike dug up a couple of things that frankly I did not realize I had hiding there in my storage unit. Come join the fun, tomorrow at one! #jdkshow
