A love letter to what wasn’t my dream school…

Dear UC Berkeley,

I never thought in my whole life I’d be going to this school with my heart completely set somewhere else that didn’t want me. With this being the only UC that accepted me and not actually knowing much about Berkeley, I blindly committed. Little did I know, it was an absolute battle adapting to the intense, fast paced undergrad culture, but I made it through the trenches. Even with the constant tears, self doubt, and changing majors on my last year, I’m proud to say I was able to graduate a year early at the #1 public university in the world. Thank you Berkeley for being able to provide with all these amazing experiences and introducing me to the best people in the world. Even though Berkeley was never where I expected to be, I’m glad to say “this is where I was meant to be.”

Proud to be leaving Berkeley pretty, skinny legend, a degree hotter and six figures…
