“Scratching your stuff with style” — I have been a hand engraver for over 35 years, and I love it!
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be hanging out with and presenting alongside such talented engravers!!!!
The engravers that attended The Hand Engravers Retreat and Expo were of all ages, at different levels of their engraving journey and from all walks of life and yet the sense of community and belonging was strong.

Thank you to all for your kindness and inclusion💗 I sincerely enjoyed spending time with everyone that I had conversations with.

Thank you @ray.cover for having the vision and seeing it come to life, I look forward to returning next year!

T.H.E.R.E. The Hand Engraving Retreat & Expo

	What a weekend.

So I did not take as many photos as I would have liked to, I was simply so overwhelmed and in the moment, I didnt think about it. The one I did take from the stage at the beginning of my presentation, again, I was so nervous that I didnt change my settings and it didnt come out like I would of liked. That being said, I just want to say thank you to @ray.cover for making this happen, all of his hard work and preparation to do this and get us all together. To have roughly 120 engravers together, having it be the topic of almost all the conversations, was a wild experience. All the presentations were wonderful and insightful as well!
BIG thank you everyone that took the time to watch my presentation. Even how much preparation I did, I truly feel like I fumbled my way through it. I was very nervous and all the prep I did went right out the window, y’all were quite the intimidating crowd. It seemed well received and I am forever grateful. I did learn I am not built for public speaking. Hahah.
I would also like to say I am so so so happy to have met a lot of you in person that I have had internet relationships with for the last few years, in person. As well as many new ones created this weekend. There is simply too many folks to tag on this post for me. So if you were there, feel free to comment so everyone else can find you as well.
Big thank you to everyone who purchased prints of the shirt design I did for the event, it’s killer to know you’ll be hanging them in your spaces. With that said, I do have some left over, so if you didn’t get one, or if you weren’t able to be THERE and want one, message me!. They are being shipped back to me, so once I get them, I’m happy to get one to you. I also had lots of inquiries about prints of the design I did for my presentation. Enough folks have asked that I will be doing a small run of them. Give me a few to get back into the swing of things and catch up a little, but be on the lookout for a post about that.

Thank you ALL for the laughter, friendships and great conversations. Looking forward to next year.

Some more shots from T.H.E.R.E this weekend in Arcadia, Missouri. Not only was it a good time with good people, but the engraving game being shared was crazy.

Many thanks to all who support my artwork and automotive/motorcycle engraving in general. Support is not always financial, likes and shares are appreciated as well. Giving all the glory to God. God bless. 🙏#Godfirst #engraving #engraver #art #artist
