and just like that… another year has gone by and it’s my two year bookstaversary🥹
I had no idea two years ago this would change my life
but in the midst of depression & anxiety this account helped me to stay creative, to meet authors, other book lovers, and most importantly, some of my most treasured friends.

ily all & im so grateful. to share my home, my beach, my history, my books, my passions with you. and to have you by my side. THE ANCIENT TEXTS!!! These are the books I read as a teen so I have an emotional attachment to them 😭 like I don’t care if some of them are considered “bad,” I enjoyed them!!!

I recommend everyone to read ATLEAST one from this lineup…esp The Goldfinch!!!

Definitely evening, and then staying up way too late saying “just one more chapter”😊

🎧 audiobook or e-book?
It’s insane, but I’ve actually never in my life listened to an audiobook😅 so I’m gonna have to go with e-book!

📖 fiction or nonfiction?
For sure fiction! I love to get lost in worlds that don’t actually exist🥰

📚paperback or hardcover:
I don’t really mind, a paperback is more comfortable in my opinion but hardcovers are actually so gorgeous🤭 but most of the time I buy paperbacks cause they’re also cheaper😅

📕new or old release?
This is something I actually never think about, I buy whatever book peaks my interest 😂

🕯️classic lover or hater?
I don’t think I’ve ever read a proper classic book so I’m not really sure. I don’t think it’s something I’d absolutely love though!

🤫 silence or noise?
I actually prefer silence when I’m reading. It’s that or some every day noise of other people quietly existing in the same room😊

🐶 bookmark or dog ear?
Bookmark alllll the way!! I hate folding pages or cracking spines on purpose. If it happens, it’s not the end of the world. But doing it on purpose hurts my soul😭😂
