“The past is never truly buried; sometimes, it waits for the right moment to reveal its secrets.”

Rahul Ajit Joshi’s "Kaalnetra: The Trishul Chapter" is a fascinating journey into a world where ancient Indian history, mythology, and futuristic science collide.

Blending archaeological discoveries with hidden knowledge and powerful conspiracies, the novel transforms forgotten legends into an exciting mystery that challenges our understanding of the past.

The parallel narratives involving Emperor Ashoka’s era and the modern-day investigations of Priya Malhotra and Arjun Singh create an intriguing connection between two distant timelines.

The references to the Nine Unknown Men and the mysterious Trishul add an original dimension to the story, while unexpected revelations sustain the suspense.

Beyond its adventurous plot, the novel also explores the dangerous possibilities of knowledge when it falls into the wrong hands.

The characters bring individuality to the narrative, making the unfolding mystery more engaging.

Although a few questions remain unanswered, they leave room for further exploration in the anticipated continuation.

As William Faulkner famously wrote, “The past is never dead. It's not even past.”
This idea beautifully echoes the novel’s central theme: history can continue to shape humanity long after its secrets have disappeared from memory.

Overall, this is an imaginative and ambitious read for anyone who enjoys mythology, historical mysteries, and science fiction woven into an adventurous narrative. Happy Reading, Happy Learning.

"Naimisha – The Middle Game: Moves & Countermoves" by Sesha is an engaging retelling of the Mahabharata that brings fresh meaning to familiar stories.

The book explores the growing conflict between the Pandavas and Kauravas, where ambition, jealousy, and the desire for power shape the lives of many characters.

Animish and Asareer add an interesting touch to the story through their different views about Krishna.

Their journey encourages readers to think about faith, doubt, and the mystery of divinity.

Krishna stands out through his clever decisions, powerful strategies, and complex nature.

The book also brings important events like Draupadi’s swayamvara, the rise of Indraprastha, and the famous dice game to life.

One of the book’s strengths is its detailed portrayal of characters such as Duryodhana and Karna.

Their struggles and choices make the story more realistic and thought-provoking.

The chess game comparison also makes the changing balance of power easy to understand.

However, some lengthy descriptions slow down the pace. Despite this, the story remains interesting.

Overall, this book is a good choice for mythology lovers who enjoy stories filled with drama, wisdom, and valuable life lessons. Happy Reading, Happy Learning.

"Chasing the Shadows" by Devi Raghuvanshi is a short and meaningful story about two people, Aniruddh and Anu, whose lives remain connected in an unusual way.

Their backgrounds are very different - Aniruddh grows up with comfort and privilege, while Anu learns to handle responsibilities from an early age.

Despite their differences, both work hard to create their own paths.

The story beautifully shows how some people can leave a lasting impact on our lives without actually becoming a part of our journey.

The line, “Some lives don't meet ... They just pass close enough to leave a shadow behind,” perfectly captures the central feeling of the story.

Their connection is quiet, yet it continues to exist through memories and the paths they cross.

Another thought that fits the characters is, “There comes a point in life ... When movement continues but the reason for moving changes.”

As their lives develop, their goals and priorities also change, giving the story a reflective quality.

The writing is simple, clear, and easy to follow. I also liked how the book presents relationships without forcing them into a typical romantic ending.

Overall, Chasing the Shadows is a quick, thoughtful read about relationships, choices, memories, and the quiet impact people can have on one another. Happy Reading, Happy Learning.

LoveChance: A Field Guide to Modern-Day Love is a refreshing and amusing look at what dating can feel like in today’s world.

Athena Roy, a 45 year old editor, is good at shaping other people’s love stories but struggles to create a happy one of her own.

Her decision to join a dating app leads to a series of unexpected encounters, strange conversations, disappointments, and brief moments of hope.

Athena’s experiences make the story both entertaining and easy to connect with.

She is emotional, imaginative, funny, and sometimes hilariously quick to dream about a future with someone she has just met.

Her journey shows how easily hope can grow and how quickly it can be challenged.

The story is light-hearted but also carries genuine emotion.

It reminds us that love can be confusing and imperfect, yet still worth searching for.

The quote, “Life is short, love fiercely,” beautifully captures the spirit of Athena’s journey.

And as the story reminds us, “Because sometimes love isn't about certainty. Sometimes, you simply have to take a chance.”

Overall, LoveChance is an entertaining and relatable read about hope, self-discovery, and finding the courage to keep believing in love. Happy Reading, Happy Learning.

“If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.” - Maya Angelou

"Delulu Is (Not) the Solulu" is a refreshing and relatable book about life, self-discovery, emotions, and personal growth.

Natasha Rathore shares her experiences in a very open and honest way, making the book feel like a friendly conversation rather than a lecture.

The book talks about stress, relationships, self-doubt, ambition, and the pressure to have everything figured out.

Instead of giving perfect answers, it encourages readers to accept their struggles and learn from their experiences.

Many parts can make you stop and think about your own life, choices, and feelings.

The spiritual ideas and personal stories add depth, while the humour keeps the reading light and enjoyable.

Overall, this is a comforting and thoughtful book for anyone who feels confused, tired, or unsure about life.

It reminds us that we do not need to be perfect or “normal” to be ourselves. A warm and meaningful read that is worth picking up. Happy Reading, Happy Learning.

If you’ve watched The Holiday, Bridget Jones’s Diary, How to Be Single, or Someone Great and found yourself smiling, overthinking, rooting for love, or relating a little too much… you might want to pick up LoveChance: A Field Guide to Modern-Day Love. ❤️📖

This book carries the same kind of messy, funny, emotional energy that makes these movies so enjoyable.

It takes you through awkward dates, unexpected connections, unanswered texts, one-sided feelings, unrealistic expectations, and those little moments when you start imagining an entire future after one good conversation. 😭😂

Athena Roy’s dating journey feels like watching a rom-com unfold, except it’s much more honest about the confusion that comes with modern love.

There’s humour, heartbreak, hope, and plenty of moments where you’ll probably think, “Okay… why is this so relatable?”

So, if these movies are your comfort watches, consider LoveChance your next comfort read.

Because sometimes love doesn’t follow a script - it simply asks you to take a chance.

"Duck to Century!" by Sumit Kukreja is an inspiring memoir about facing unexpected challenges and finding the courage to begin again.

The cricket-inspired title is creative and becomes more meaningful as the story progresses.

Through his personal experiences, the author takes readers through career struggles, business setbacks, financial difficulties, personal challenges, and moments of self-doubt.

One of the strongest aspects of the book is its honest and relatable approach.

The author reminds us that life does not always give us time to prepare for difficult situations.

As he writes, “Sometimes life puts you on the spot before you have had any chance to prepare. And sometimes that is exactly what you need.” This thought captures an important message of the book: challenges can also become turning points.

The book also offers a practical perspective on money and success.

The line, “Money is not the goal. Freedom is. Money, managed well, is simply the vehicle that gets you there,” presents a thoughtful way of looking at financial success.

Overall, Duck to Century! is a meaningful and easy-to-read book that encourages readers to accept setbacks, learn from experience, and keep moving towards a better future. Happy Reading, Happy Learning.

Navneet Jhamb’s "Doublespeak: Chronicles of Wit and Wisdom" is a refreshing book that blends humour, wisdom, observations and life lessons in a wonderfully accessible way.

One of its strongest features is the collection of inspirational quotes and thoughts from some of the greatest personalities and writers - ideas that feel relevant at different stages of life.

The book has nine chapters, each offering something to pause over, reflect on and carry forward.

The writing is witty, conversational and filled with observations about ambition, work, communication, success and human behaviour.

The author presents these lessons in a way that encourages readers to look at familiar situations from a fresh perspective.

Some lines stay with you long after reading them, such as: “To be full of yourself is to make a fool of yourself.” - Ashly Lorenzana and “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” - Lao Tzu.

The illustrations further enhance the reading experience, making the book visually engaging as well.

Overall, "Doublespeak" is a thoughtful and inspiring read for anyone seeking perspective, motivation and meaningful ideas to transform their life. Happy Reading, Happy Learning.

If Laapataa Ladies, English Vinglish, Queen, Tumhari Sulu or The Great Indian Kitchen made you pause and think, “This is what women go through,” then there’s a book you shouldn’t miss.

Because these stories were never just about women finding themselves. They were about women questioning the roles they were handed, finding their voice, making their own choices - and slowly reclaiming their lives.

I Am My Own Laxmi takes that conversation somewhere we rarely take it: money.

Why is it that women can manage an entire household, remember everyone’s needs, make a hundred decisions every day - and yet feel uncomfortable saying, “I understand my money. I know where it goes. I know what I own”?

In a country where Lakshmi is worshipped as the Goddess of Wealth, women are often taught to participate in money, but not necessarily to claim ownership of it.

This book is not a dry finance manual. It is a wake-up call - a cultural mirror, a collection of lived experiences, and a practical guide for the woman who wants financial security but doesn’t know where to begin.

Because knowing your money is not just about numbers.

It is about confidence. Choice. Security. Freedom. Power.

And perhaps the most important realization of all:

You don’t have to wait for someone else to make you financially secure. You can become your own Laxmi.

If those movies made you believe in a woman finding herself, this book might make you ask whether you have found yourself financially yet. Grab your copies now. Happy Reading, Happy Learning.

If "The Fault in Our Stars" made you emotional, "Wonder" made you see childhood differently, and "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" reminded you how innocence can make a story even more powerful, then "Thumb Sucking" by Dr. Srilakshmi Kovaali deserves your attention.

The emotional connection is different, but the ability to leave a lasting impression is very much there.

At the heart of "Thumb Sucking" is Keerthi, a little girl whose life takes an unexpected turn when she is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Told through her mother’s eyes, the book goes beyond illness and treatment to explore the fragile world of a family caught between fear and hope.

Keerthi’s journey shows us that suffering does not have to silence a child’s dreams.

She continues to dream, love, smile and understand the people around her with an innocence that feels incredibly real.

The writing is simple, intimate and deeply human, making the emotions easy to connect with.

It is a short journey, but one that makes you pause, appreciate ordinary moments, and realise how much strength can live inside a little heart.

"Thumb Sucking" is the kind of book you finish reading, but don't quite finish feeling. Happy Reading, Happy Learning. Grab your copies now.
