POV: the Bookstagram hype was 100% worth it. 📚✨. I’d been seeing XO Book Co all over my feed, so naturally the book club gals and I had to make the trip into city... and I honestly felt like a kid walking into a candy store.
Can we please talk about the adorable little step ladders for us fun-sized readers who can’t quite reach the top shelves? 🥹😂
I had my heart set on finding Kiss of a Basilisk... it was, of course, on the top shelf, but one of the tall girlies came to the rescue. I love this book community so much. ❤️
The interactive little touches throughout the store made browsing so much fun! You can tell this space has been curated by someone who genuinely love books (and readers). I only adopted three books today 📖✨
But it’s safe to say this won’t be my last visit...

1 ⭐️ reviews of books that I love!

This is such a fun trend, and interesting to see how other people rate books differently.

What’s a book you LOVE that others don’t?

I’d love to see more people do this, so tagged a few people but if you do it after seeing this post I’d love to see

❤️🖤 Colour stack 🖤❤️

@taysreadingjournal tagged me in the colour stack challenge, so I did my faaaav. Red has been my favourite colour since I was like 10 years old! I especially love deep shades.

What's your favourite colour?

I'll tag some people to join in, but obviously would love to see anyone do it 🥰

MORE 👏🏼 BOOK 👏🏼 EVENTS 👏🏼 FOR 👏🏼 PONEKE.
My anxious, sweaty self had a great time at @t.r.sherringauthor debut launch hosted by @thegrimoire_nz

Loved seeing some familiar faces and some new ones (hey @amykatereads we should be friends even though your taste is terrible 😂)

I will be retiring to my cave to recover but bring on more book events for 2026

The two sides of booksta depending on where you are in the world! 🌎

If you’re like me (in the bottom half of the world) you’re probably also romanticizing spring, but then having to remind yourself that it’s actually autumn here 😅

Here is the two sides in their respective seasons 🌸🍁

Spring: Fresh blooms, soft colours and whimsical details - Reading: cute romances, and girly lit fic

Autumn: soft light, warm tones and cosy books
Reading: cosy fantasy and romantasies

Let me know where you are reading from? 🌸 or 🍁

Or save this for your seasonal TBR! ✨

P.s - fun fact I learnt today - apparently 90% of the world’s population lives in the northern hemisphere?! Don’t mind us down here 🤣
