โœจSeptember Recapโœจ This month was so eventful and it totally flew by. Started the month with a surprise invite from @readswithleo to be her plus one to a Leigh Bardugo launch event ๐Ÿคฏ in LA. We then went back for Socal for the @booksgownsandcrowns Ch5 Con and had the best time ever with the husband. Lauren joined us midway and sharing the room definitely elevated our yapping sessions. Also go to meet @deliciouslycarnalcourtships who is the sweetest. And of course hung out with my Arizona queens @the_booked_nook and @chaptersandcafecito_ . And last but not least got to hear RF Kuang talk about her book and my gosh she has a big brain and it shows. Always a great time with @vibewithmebookclub and @foreversleepyreads plus met @xoxo_miri_reads And last but not least we went glamping as a celebration to husband getting a new job. Still here? Okay lets chat books ๐Ÿคญ โœจbooks read ~ we dabbed into everything this month. Academia, horror, fantasy, historical! Okay but my favorite of the month and so far of the whole year? The Gods Will Sing Our Song. Such a beautiful story ๐Ÿฅน โœจadded to physical tbr ~ welp all the great progress i made has gone out the window ๐Ÿ˜‚. Maybe i should give up. Most of these were from the Con. The countdown begins ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. 3 more sleeps! These are the Authors I cannot wait to meet @booksgownsandcrowns Chapter 5 in San Diego. There will be so many more plus I get to see some I already have met before like @hannahnicolemae and @vblacey.books . The fact that I get to attend these events is still unreal. Meeting these women feels like meeting your heroes and I usually become a blabbering mess ๐Ÿ˜†. They are all always so kind and sweet and they are memories you donโ€™t forget. A Night To Remember ๐Ÿ–ค We got to be part of an exclusive launch party for the Ninth House Trilogy Conclusion where Leigh literally just hung out and chatted with us ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. The worst is jumping into a book and not having a great time. Stand outs were DCC mostly because I had no idea what to expect and was so hoping to enjoy it. Dark Fae was one I figured wouldnโ€™t be a top series because I am not a Why Choose girly but it was a good like i hoped. โœจ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ค๐ฌ ๐“๐ก๐š๐ญโ€ฆ ๐„๐ฑ๐œ๐ž๐ž๐๐ž๐ ๐Œ๐ฒ ๐„๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ These are some that I just cant stop thinking about. They were such a good time. Daggermouth for sure was a shock because it has no magic and I also dont read a ton of dystopian and it was freaking amazing. ZA has an amazing magic system that truly blew my mind. The Everlasting is very unique. โœจ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ค๐ฌ ๐“๐ก๐š๐ญโ€ฆ ๐ˆ ๐‡๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก ๐„๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐…๐จ๐ซ I could literally include every sequel that is about to come out this year and book from my physical tbr because thats why I bought them ๐Ÿ˜† but I tried to pick some new series to me. Empire of Vampire and Will of the Many are some high on my list. Burn Her They Said and Wings of Ash & Flames are so very anticipated reads for me from sone lovely friends on here!
