Pumpkin spice is the flavor of the season, which means my personality is now 40% cozy reader, 40% latte foam, and 20% pretending I do not need another fall-themed book.

I have a rule that I don't get pumpkin flavored treats until after Sept. 22. However, I made an exception for this. These are my mom's famous pumpkin muffins. They didn't turn out as well as hers, but they were edible and fun to make; really dense though so I think I copied the recipe incorrectly. Oh well.

I haven't started it yet, but Hack by @author.n.o.one
looked really awesome and I plan to read it either this month or next. I'll do a review and let you know how it is.

These two like to be where ever I am. The puppy makes meeting my beta read deadline quite a challenge! With the moving boxes still all over the house there is plenty of trouble for him to get into. But here I go, trying to make it work 😂

My suitcase is always jam packed full of reading essentials and “just one more chapter” energy.

I personally can’t think of a better combo than beaches and romance or romantic-comedies for a vacation. They’re light. They’re fun. Absolutely perfect for those times when we get to shut off our brains and just ENJOY. Some of my favorites include:
