Come and make sage pesto with me. It takes five minutes and will make pasta sing. Especially hand rolled pici!! But also BLTs, mashed potato, atop pork chops, in a tomato salad. Try it for yourself and see.

A big handful sage
A handful of nuts (almonds work well)
60-80g parmesan
1/2-1 red chilli
2 cloves garlic
4-6 anchovies
Zest and juice of a lemon
Salt and pepper
250ml approx extra virgin olive oil

Whizz everything in a food processor until finely chopped, then with the motor running and the lemon juice then oil. Look and taste. Does it need more salt, more lemon, more heat? Does it need more liquid? Adjust accordingly with your instincts. You can do this! This pesto is best left overnight for the flavours to mingle, or if you cant wait, enjoy it straight away!

I mentioned a vision board that I made last November, so I thought I’d share it here.

A collage of all the things that are important to me and that I want to include in my life.

Looking at it now, and in light of my @pici_a_kit I’m stunned at the pasta images. And assuming I’ll be hanging 10 by the end of the year 🤣

I just hit send on this month’s newsletter. The details and backstory about the project that I’ve been working on and alluding to here. In essence, it’s a meal kit, but it’s designed not just to feed, but to bring people together. For more information head to @pici_a_kit

I sat down to map out my cookbook. The one that I know for certain is there. 2023 was going to be the year I set it free. But something else came to life. Something I wasn’t expecting. Something I have grabbed with both hands and am running with. Sprinting so I make it to the finish line. With all the belief and passion in my heart that I have. I feel foolish. I feel elated. But above all. I feel like me. For more reveals follow over @pici_a_kit
