Read to the end if you want to hear some of our blunders this year… Well, it might look like we were only busy this fall with Pumpkin Parcel Co.. We actually started talking about this business over a year ago in December 2024. Leah had the idea for the business and we start discussing what it would look like to actually start a business. Fast-forward a few months we spent tons of time texting about names and logistics. We started making Excel spreadsheets, so many Excel spreadsheets. We set up mock pumpkins on our porches to get numbers and ideas for packages. I think my mailman thought I was crazy when I had pumpkins on my porch in May. With her husband‘s encouragement we filed all the legal paperwork to start Pumpkin Parcel Co. In the summer, we hired an illustrator, and while sitting at our kid’s swim lessons we finalized the design for a logo. The summer was also filled with sourcing pumpkins. We designed a website which neither of us had experience doing. While you all saw the beautiful porches we designed you didn’t see everything behind the scenes. Mostly dirty grunt work of hauling and cleaning pumpkins. Installing pumpkins in 90 degrees when we were covered in sweat and dirt and picking them up in 30 degree weather bundled up and delivering them to the pig farm. We are so grateful for everyone who cheered us on this first year and who partnered with us. Thank you @nancymoore.co for showcasing our work before we had any images to prove ourselves. Thank you Carrol Family Farm for letting us spoil your pigs. A big thanks to Farmer Chad for pulling our trailer out of the mud. Maybe we will share that embarrassing story one day! Thank you Colin for letting us borrow your trailer. We learned so much this year and we cannot wait for Fall 2026! Some changes will be coming this next season so follow along to see what we have up our sleeve!

I had a special early birthday celebration the last 24 hours. Reagan, Sean, Chad and all 4 grandchildren planned an incredible time for us to be together at an OKC Thunder game and overnight stay in an Air B&B. I can’t remember a time I’ve felt so loved and thankful for the life God’s blessed me with. Thank you for all the time, trouble and expense you guys went to so close to Christmas to do this for me. I love you all so much and will never forget our time together!

June flew by in the blink of an eye! It was one of those months where the days were full and fast, and before you know it, you’re halfway through summer. Nothing felt quite big enough for its own post, but not sharing them felt like letting the little joys slip by unnoticed. So here’s a look at June - Part 1 ✨ 🏓 Pickleball matches with friends 💦 Endless swimming 🐶🐱🐓 Our animal crew is slowly turning us into a zoo 🦒 A zoo trip with sweet friends 👯‍♀️ Girls’ nights 🩹 A few stitches, because summer always has its plot twists …And all the ordinary, beautiful moments in between! At some point I’ll get around to Part 2! ✨

Started the day off with finding my new favorite $1.85 sun glasses. Little did I know they’d become my cowgirl, riding glasses. I’m the most city slicker, country gal you’ll ever meet. Sipping my iced coffee and squealing over piglets. *thanks to @chadncarroll & @reagancarroll for letting us fake it till we make it. They are the real deal! #cowgirls #cowboys #oklahoma #countryliving

Hallie’s Dedication 12.8.24 🤍 Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Isaiah 44:24 “This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the LORD, the Maker of all things, who stretches out the heavens, who spreads out the earth by myself..” Matthew 18:10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.“
