My newest release! Something completely different…. Because I ain’t singing this time!
I’d toyed around the idea of recording my own version of Clio’s ‘Faces’ for a long time as it is by far my most favourite Italo Disco track… in fact it’s one of my personal most favourite tracks of all time.

I initially had planned to sing this song myself!… But I (wisely) decided this project would be much better suited with a female lead instead.
And who better than my lovely (and extremely attractive) lady @realalicecatt who happens to be quite the singer. She did an excellent job I reckon! Go give her a follow and lots of praises! 😉

I thoroughly enjoyed this production.
I would love to record my own original Italo/Euro Disco style track in the future… but we’ll see what happens.

Anyway, enjoy the track!

@realalicecatt

She features in a few of my songs including an upcoming release.
There’ll be yet another project coming soon after that which will feature her again… much, much more prominently!… She’s amazing 🥰💖🖤

Stay tuned for that!

We met on here nearly two years ago… and on April 15th 2026, we finally met in person for the very first time when she came to Australia to stay with me for the month. She’s on her way back home now as I post this. It was very hard to say goodbye 💔
We had such a great time together…. So much fun! My family and friends love her dearly! Very gratefully, she will return to me for Christmas and the New Year 😊💖
These are memories I will always cherish.
Travel safe my love @realalicecatt 💖🫂🫶🏻

This month all the way back in 1968 saw the release of 2+2=?, a powerful Vietnam protest song and debut single from the Bob Seger System. The band was a continuation of Seger’s previous band and their debut album Ramblin Gamblin Man would be released the following year.

The title track for the album was released in October of ‘68 and gave Seger his first national hit, reaching #20 on the charts. It would be the only hit for the System and Seger would return to being a regional sensation in his hometown of Detroit and across the Midwest until the mid 70s, when he would finally achieve the mainstream success he’d been chasing.

Pretty proud to say I finally own the 45 of this terrific song, backed with the equally great but underrated Tale of Lucy Blue, courtesy of my friend the wonderful @alices_record_shop please give her a follow and add some great music to your collection!
