“There’s no award for superwoman, motherhood is already hard, soften it” - Uche Jombo

For Mother’s Day, we had an exclusive chat with Veteran actress, filmmaker, and mom @uchejombo where we talked all things motherhood, from fat shaming, to hidden truths about motherhood. This is one episode you don’t want to miss.

Episode is now out on Spotify and YouTube! Or send a dm to @realandrawwithvalojeah with the comment UCHE JOMBO and we would send you a direct link to the episode.

“I want you to be comfortable enough to tell me stuff but I also want you to understand that I’m your parent not your friend.” - @uchejombo joined us on @realandrawwithvalojeah to talk all things motherhood. She shared tips for moms who feel burned out by the mental load.

How do you raise children who feel safe opening up to you… without completely losing structure, boundaries, and respect?

Do you think parents today are trying too hard to be friends with their kids?

Full conversation drops on Saturday , 9AM CST | 3PM Nigeria time on Real & Raw with Val Ojeah. 🎙️🔥

Extend Grace to your friends!

I posted this on my TikTok @BlessingDcreator few days ago, and yesterday I came across a podcast by @realandrawwithvalojeah and @cocoplustwins brought up how women forgive their cheating partners repeatedly but struggle to extend that same grace to their friends. And it hit!
Here’s my take.
It’s time to invest in your friendships as much as you do with your romantic relationships.

Tomorrow, April 10th I launch my podcast 🎙️🎙️🎙️@realandrawwithvalojeah

Joining me weekly are individuals who do not shy away from conversations we don’t usually have out loud. From family and marriage to non-traditional relationships, gender roles, prenuptial agreements, and everything in between. On some days, I’m by myself spilling and sharing my takes on issues that actually matter.

This podcast is for those ready to question norms, break stereotypes, and have the real, uncomfortable, and necessary conversations. It’s real and raw; where conversations are never less than honest,

Listen tomorrow & every Friday wherever you get your podcasts🎤🎤🎤.

I stumbled on this DM from 2015. A younger me asking @denrele_edun to point me in the right direction. He is always so gracious but ofcourse things will only align in God’s own time.

All these years later, after looking for a seat at the table, I created my own table.

@realandrawwithvalojeah is COMING !! wherever you get your podcasts. Can’t wait for you to see what we have been cooking🤎

If no one saves you a seat, build the whole table. 🖤
Delay is not denial and babyyy, we are finally here.
