WE’RE FINALLY ON OUR WAY! ⛵️🌍🔥

After years of rebuilding Windfall, we’ve officially left the shipyard in Almere Buiten!

Our first leg of the world voyage? Almere to Almere! 😂

Not quite the Atlantic yet, but hey… every great adventure has to start somewhere!

Next stop: stepping the mast, bending on our new sails and tackling the 1,001 little jobs before we head out to sea.

But the most important thing? We’ve left the shipyard. The journey has begun. WE’RE ON OUR WAY, AROUND THE WORLD 🌊💙

Oh Mallorca, you got me. 🫶🏼

What a month. A little rollercoaster of highs, lows, chaos, beautiful moments and everything in between.

I can only fit 20 slides in here, but honestly, this month could easily fill an entire chapter.

I burned myself on my motorbike, got pooped on by a bird, my car got scratched from front to back, I lived with a crazy person who finally moved out… and somewhere in between, I also managed to get a stress/allergy rash all over my face and completely freak myself out about it. 🫠😂

But then there were all the beautiful moments.

The moon eclipse. 🌙 Wine tastings with friends. Boat days, sunshine and those little moments where you just think: damn, life is good.

And that little dog who was the very first one to jump onto the swimming island, lay down and just fully enjoy his life on the boat. I remember looking at him thinking: Yeah… maybe I should take a page out of his book sometimes. 😂🐶

I got to work with the sweetest people, met so many wonderful new people, and realized once again how many beautiful souls have found their way into my life here.

And I guess that’s Mallorca for me.

It’s not always just sunshine, the ocean and pretty sunsets. Sometimes it’s chaotic. Sometimes it’s exhausting. Sometimes I genuinely wonder what the hell I’m doing here. 😂

But then something beautiful happens, and I remember exactly why I’m here.

I could write an entire chapter about this month and still feel like I left out half of it.

So Mallorca… thank you.
For the highs. For the lows. For the chaos. For the unexpected moments. For the people. For all the experiences.

I’m incredibly grateful to be here and to experience all of this.

It’s messy, it’s beautiful, it’s unpredictable, and honestly, I love every bit of it. 🤍

Nature’s gentle giants are even stranger than they look. 🦒

Swipe for a few fun facts about giraffes — from a 20-inch purple tongue to a 25-pound heart. We see them on nearly every safari, and they never stop being magical.
Which one surprised you most?
