“A fairy tail in dahlias”

Seeing a design come to life like this …and this is why I love what I do.

Olivia @olivialockharrt is wearing our custom La Rose fit and flare gown, crafted in crepe satin to beautifully contour her curves. A sculpted corset bodice detailed with crystals and pearls catches the light, while floral French lace frames the train with a soft, romantic finish.

A pearl veil, our bridal bouquet, and the dahlia garden at Arrowwood Farm complete the scene. Everything I imagined, brought to life.

There’s something special about imagining a dress, creating it, and then seeing it become part of a perfect wedding secene this beautiful. A little dream of ours, brought to life.

I’m SO excited for Sunday 💃🏻

When I started thinking about Sunday Social, I kept coming back to one idea: I know so many incredible people. They know incredible people. What happens if we bring all of those circles together?

People I know & love, with people they know & love. People I’ve met in real life, people I’ve only known through social media, and people who might walk into Lumen on Sunday knowing almost no one.

That’s what I’m most excited about.

We’ve built the afternoon around actually making it easy to connect. Ice breaker prompts, guest introductions, giveaways, a cooking demonstration, food, drinks, live music, photos and lots of little reasons to move around the house and meet someone new.

And seeing all of it starting to come together this week has me VERY excited.

Sunday Social is this Sunday, September 27 from 1–5 PM.

Bring a friend. Come on your own. Bring someone you think other people should know. Ticket link in Bio!

Come curious. Leave connected. ✨

A little look at what’s taking over Lumen House next Sunday ✨

@brookewatsonrealty will be on the decks spinning vinyl deep house, with @stephanie.rae.music bringing live vocals throughout the afternoon.

@taylors.table.ig is turning food into an experience, @theposhcheeseboardco is bringing the grazing spread, and @bulles_et_bieres pouring our signature Sunday Social Spritz.

@prismaphotographystudio and @519lionphotography will be bouncing around the house with their cameras, capturing the people, conversations and moments happening throughout the afternoon, with opportunities to step in front of the camera too.

There are also a few things built into Sunday Social to make walking up to someone you don’t know a whole lot easier. You’ll find those when you get here. 😉

Come for an hour. Stay for four. Wander the house and make the afternoon your own.

The Sunday Social isn’t run by an events company. It’s a compilation of 12 people who all bring something completely different to the house.

A planner. A decorator. Photographers. A creative director. A foodie. A vocalist. A DJ. Mortgage pros. A relationship builder. A Realtor. A storyteller.

Different careers, different personalities, different perspectives, all coming together to create one really good Sunday afternoon.

This is your Sunday Social crew.

They’ll be welcoming you in, introducing you to people, creating experiences, capturing moments, feeding you, entertaining you and, hopefully, making it a little easier to walk up to someone you don’t know.

There’s also a reason we want you to get to know their faces…

If you want a little help breaking the ice, grab a Sunday Social Connection Card when you arrive. It’s completely optional, designed to give you an easy reason to start a conversation with someone new.

Figure out which crew member belongs to each clue, make some connections along the way, and complete your card to be entered into the draw for some pretty amazing giveaways.

Or… skip the card entirely and just enjoy the house! The Sunday Social is yours to experience however you want.

I built Lumen House to be used, not just looked at. This crew is helping bring it to life and I’m so grateful for these connections!

You can walk into a room full of people, have a dozen conversations and still leave feeling like no one really got to know you…

That’s exactly why we’re doing Sunday Social Introductions.

Throughout the afternoon, we’ll introduce 12 guests to the room. You don’t have to pitch yourself, grab the mic or figure out how to explain who you are in 30 seconds.

We’ll do the talking.

Want us to introduce you? Send us a DM with “INTRODUCE ME” and tell us a little about yourself.

The goal isn’t to work the room. It’s to make it a little easier to find the people in it you might actually connect with.
