The Moore Life | Chapter 1 🤍

One year ago today, we made a commitment to each other and to God.

In the church that raised my husband, surrounded by the family and village that shaped us, we entered a sacred covenant. Before the big celebrations and unforgettable memories, we began with what mattered most.

I understand even more deeply now that marriage isn’t about the wedding. It’s about the promises we uphold, the choices we make daily, and the life we build together with God at the center.

Chapter 1 has taught us so much. I’m grateful for our beginning and excited for all that’s unfolding.

Happy Anniversary, Brian! I promise to Love You Moore in Chapter 2. 🖤

Three years since our first date.
One year since I said yes.
And now…this season feels like such a clear reflection of grace, timing, and intention.

Walking toward my husband.
Feeling the love and covering of our parents.
Surrounded by our family & friends that showed up so fully for Moore Love 2025.

I’m thankful for our marriage.
Grateful for our foundation.
And blessed to know this story is bigger than us — and God trusted us to live it.

I am so in love with the woman I’ve become and the life I’ve created! I love my light and I want to protect it. I am strong, confident, and powerful. I am kind and good-hearted. I do my best to make a positive impact on the world and handle people with care. I am surrounded by love and light, always. My relationships are meaningful and support my growth. My discernment is increasing.

I have so much gratitude for the people God has placed on my path. Without them, I might not be me.

#DADDY #BFF

My dad recently said to me that he believes I’m a combination of the very best parts of him and my mother. It’s such a wonderful thing to have a dad that thinks so highly of his daughter. When it feels like the world is against me, I know he’s always for me. And I know there’s nothing I could ever do to change that. I’m so grateful for you, Dad. 🙌🏾

I am so grateful that God allowed me and my dad to spend another Father’s Day together and pray for many many more! I’m also grateful that God blessed me with such an amazing father. He makes me feel so loved and important. He always wants to know what’s going on with me and my friends and will do anything he can to help us. He’s so easy to talk to and makes time to talk to me every single day. I love and appreciate you, Dad. Happy Father’s Day! ❤️

#GirlDad

My dad has always told me that all he wanted was a little girl and once he got me he was good. That was always hard to believe because I’ve never encountered a black man that doesn’t desire a son to carry his legacy.
Well, I finally believe it. My dad is the epitome of a girl dad. And my whole life he’s helped me navigate the world and the barriers presented by my race and gender. We FaceTime 3 times a day at minimum to discuss all things career, boys, finances, friends, etc. He’s my best friend and biggest cheerleader. I love you, Dad. Happy Father’s Day to the black man I adore the most! ✊🏾💙
