Welp… Another page turns and another chapter closes in the on going saga of media changes in the Southland.

#LaterWithMoKelly has departed from the airwaves on #KFIAM640… What a true and genuine pleasure is was to work with @mrmokelly and @mrtawalasharp these last few years! With the creation of @thisweekendwithnick in Year 1 of @laterwithmokelly - joining the team every Friday night was such a genuine joy! It was the best way to end the week with #ThisWeekendWithNick and #NameThatCultClassicMovie! Y’all gave me a chance and a platform - a true place to shine and something to make my own. A place to be heard. Something I had worked nearly 2 decades for and y’all were the only ones to see what I could do and give me a chance.

I launched my own podcasts in 2024 but still swung by the show many times as the door was always open and it truly was the best place to hang out and “work” - it was “the best job in the world!”

I returned to the show in 2025 with #WhatsUpWithNick on Tuesday nights after my time with iHeart wrapped with nearly 18 years on the job. Again, I was welcomed with open arms and the door was always open even after my home for almost 20 years showed it to me without so much as a second thought.

The mentorship, love, and friendship I’ve gotten from you guys over the years is more than anyone could ever hope for. The older brothers I always wished I had.

Thank you for sharing your talents with all of us. Thank you for being open, honest, and genuine - something that isn’t all that easy to come by in this industry, if not in the world in general these days. I’ll cherish the shared laughs and remember fondly the shared tears - y’all are, always have been, and always will be the real deal. Thank you for everything! Appreciate you! On to our next projects! Can’t wait to see what the future holds!
