The Making of Botanica Moustache Wax: The Finale 🌿

Every great fragrance deserves a grand entrance and @simonlycett was never going to arrive any other way...

Departing Lycett HQ aboard the magnificent @pashleycycles, Simon takes to the London streets, weaving through the city with pelargoniums & wild rocket in the basket and Botanica Moustache Wax close at hand.

Destination: @the_rhs Chelsea Flower Show

Upon arrival, what does a gentleman do before entering arguably the finest flower show on earth?

He reaches for his Botanica Moustache Wax, applies it with due care and precision, and strides through those gates looking absolutely magnificent!

Suffice to say, the Captain could not have scripted it better himself 🎩

The Making of Botanica Moustache Wax Part 3 🌿

After his magnificent expedition to New Covent Garden Market, the bloomin’ marvellous Simon Lycett (@simonlycett) returns to Fawcett HQ - where the latest development of Botanica Moustache Wax awaits his discerning nose.

One is delighted to report, the verdict was most favourable.

From there, proceedings took a rather splendid turn as Simon filled the basket of a beautifully crafted @pashleycycles butcher's bike - its sign writing painted by the tremendously talented Kayleigh of @realnicesigns - with the very pelargoniums and wild rocket that inspired Botanica's distinctive vegetal, green and peppery character.

Flowers courtesy of the wonderful @fibrexnurseries.

Suffice to say, it was a scene of quite extraordinary beauty...

The full story of how Botanica came to be is unfolding one chapter at a time - and one suspects the finest is yet to come. Watch this space. 🌸

Have you been to west acre gardens?
It is magical and the apple cafe is def worth a visit.
Also another shout out to the wonderful Kate Thompson Design, for her amazing women in agriculture community cube garden at RHS Sandringham - it was absolutely perfect, loved all the amazing details, so well thought out, Kate you totally nailed it. 😍
Ellie from Norfolk Flower Farm garden to vase demo was very inspirational.

The last month and a half has really shown me that if you put your mind to something you can get there. Nearly every weekend I have played in some form and it’s been so good, playing every genre under the sun with some great DJ’s and in some great local venues! It really means a lot to all the people that keep turning up so thank you for helping me keep doing my hobby 🙏 Let’s do all we can to keep these business’s open and thriving 🙌

Yesterday was nothing short of epic. To get a reaction like that, in ‘sleepy’ Downham Market, in a f*cking bakery is unbelievable. Thanks to everyone that came down, and all of the other DJs! This is what Downham needs ❤️ @mabelthebakery
