✨This summer there is no rest for the wicked at Hendy’s and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 😈 Tuesday, we’ll be kicking back with Happy Hour drink specials and then kicking off with AthFest headliner, Kenosha Kid. @kenoshakid 🤘🏽

🥁 Wednesday, our newest sponsor, Attorney Alan Cleveland at AthensInjuryLawyer.com Presents: Beats, Rhymes and Life Open Mic, hosted by educator and Athens Hip Hop stalwart Montu Miller. 🎊 Y’all come out and have a birthday drink to celebrate Montu’s 51 years and counting with our new sponsor, Alan Cleveland. Thank you Alan for ensuring Beats, Rhymes & Life Open Mic will continue as a free showcase of spoken word! ❤️‍🔥 @mon2miller @seffrohendo

🪩 Thursday, show us your dance floor moves at SABACHA! 💃🏽 Class starts at 7:30 for those wanting a warmup. @sabachadance @ladariusworld

🎷Friday, Swing Theory is back at Hendershot’s to blow the roof off with jazz classics. @realswingtheory

💋 This weekend we’re shamelessly double dipping with back-to-back programming on both Saturday and Sunday. 👀 Saturday, Tattered Writers @tatteredwriters @mikhaylawrites welcomes your creativity with space to flow starting at 11AM. 📝 Saturday night, doors open for hot local talent The Unbelieving Dog, Dipper Grande, Your Ex’s Pets. 🎸 @theunbelievingdog @dippergrande @yourexspets

🎧 Sunday from noon-4PM, pack a synth and headphones for the first ever Athens Synth Club @athens_synth_club meetup. 🤠 Sunday night we roll out the red carpet for a real knee slapper of a good time brought to you by Athens locals HUNLO @_hunl0, January @january4ever and Black Americana powerhouse from Louisiana, songwriter Dusky Waters @duskywaters. 🪕

☀️ Athens fam, we sure are feeling the summer love! 💋 Love you lattes and see you at Hendy’s! 🤎☕️

We wanted to personally invite you out to our show June 12th at @hendershots_

You can expect to hear some wonderful compositions by Cedar Walton and Mulgrew Miller that feature our pianist. You will also hear standards and original arrangements from our trombonist!

We hope to see you there! Bring your dancing shoes and your listening ears.
