📣📣 The Plants First Healthcare Coalition has officially launched, and we’re proud to be one of its five founding members.

🤝 Together with Greener by Default, MyNutriWeb, ProVeg UK and Real Zero, we’re working to support healthcare organisations in creating delicious, nutritious and sustainable plant-rich food cultures.

🌱 And the work is already happening. Pilots have been completed across 10 NHS hospital trusts and 36 Nuffield Health sites, with 3 NHS pilots currently live and another due to start this year.

Thank you all the MPs who are calling for the government to brief the public on the threats from climate change and nature loss - and the enormous benefits to be gained from genuine emergency action.

Does your MP support levelling with the public - with a briefing to the nation introduced by the Prime Minister and delivered by independent experts?

Enter your postcode to find out - see bio

If not, please email them if you can. More MPs are signing up every week.

This live briefing would be a little like the government briefings during the pandemic, and be broadcast at prime time across multiple TV channels, radio, social media etc. More info here on our website.

Beautiful and moving call between James O’Brien and volunteer gardener Carol 💚.

Understandably Carol was feeling upset and afraid, as many of us are by the extreme weather this summer and by the fact that they feel alone in these fears. Carol has asked Morden Hall National Trust Park to screen the People’s Emergency Briefing film to help ensure we all understand and share this knowledge together.

As ever, James dealt with this so graciously. Like Carol, James thinks it is vital that the Government levels with us all about the scale and urgency of the environmental crisis we face and called for a live, prime time televised briefing - building on the work of the #NationalEmergencyBriefing

We will be reaching out to Carol, to make sure she’s ok and to invite her to a screening.
