TY SEGALL!! ACOUSTIC!!

An incredible showcase of talent, whit and vibes. He is such a funny guy and made the show so entertaining. His coordination and creativity are mind blowing and it was cool to witness one of the greatest guitarists of our time with Roman and Roxanne. Michael Cronin opened for him and he was incredible too. We luckily got to meet both of them before the show and we are fans for life. #goodbyebread

The best day of the year has come and gone but not without some good memories and maybe a little PTSD.👻 Cher made incredible chili and personalized caramel apples for everyone (the best treat of the year!) Roxanne and Michael did a Grim Reaping (fishing game) with fun toys and MISfortune cookies. We had a dance contest (ricker’s twerk sealed the deal), candy guessing game and costume contest where Beetle, Mindy, Roman and Sage dominated. Roman told the freakiest story of tiny shrunken skulls that were buried up in the Adam’s orchard right before our hayride to go excavating for them.💀 We rode around the orchard then stopped under the tree in Roman’s story to start digging for the tiny skulls. Many of us found them until ghouls started chasing us (obviously for disrupting the burial ground.) So we ran to the trailer and Roman tried to get us away from the ghouls. We were putting some distance between us and the creeps til the Roxor “ran out of gas…” I will say some kids cried (mine) some people peed their pants (probably not me) but we can’t wait for next year.🎃✨🌙

CANYONEROS UNITE! 🧗🏼 The Smart Family reunion’s motto was “Be Less Afraid to be Afraid.” Which if you’ve ever hung out w my brothers you completely understand.😂 We put in for several different permits and Rangi ended up getting some to Keyhole, Pine Creek and Orderville. The intensity level varied but all three had decent rappels and climbing. It was like Oceans 11 watching my brothers plan out how it was all going to work out with the different groups, babies, kids, gear, etc. All of the outings pushed the participants to their limits and Pearl actually ended up getting heat stroke but still said it was one of the best days of her life.😂🙈 Roman and Rocky made and designed the hats and shirts we all wore and the kids definitely earned their swag by being true CANYONEROS! Zion’s was incredible as always and spending time in the Narrows with my favorite people was a dream.🌲🫶🏼

One of the best Mariners games we’ve ever attended, despite an overwhelming (and loud, and super-annoying) contingency from across our northern border, all in support of Toronto. #gomariners #smartsforever #marinerbaseball

Smarts Forever! So proud of the next generation of Smarts that represented our family with grit, determination and courage on a very challenging 2-day climb up the Emmons glacier. Especially, my 11-year old great nephew, Bay, who showed no quit, and proved he is worthy of the name “Bay Smart” (the name of my grandpa, and great-great grandpa). And my great nieces, Jillian and Caroline, were absolute rockstars—beautiful, courageous, so, so tough. This next generation of Smarts confirms the motto “Smarts Forever”! Without doubt, this was one of my all-time favorite climbs. #americasmountain #climbwashington #climbthepnw #mtrainiernationalpark #smartsforever BTW: we couldn’t have accomplished this climb without Jared Bramwell and his very stout boys who carried much of the heavy team gear, including some of my personal gear to improve my chances of summitting. Yay the Bramwells!
