POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This photo may seem meaningless to the world, but it means everything to me.

The ‘I love you’ sign in sign language is something my grandmother would hold up to me when we said goodbye.

She raised my deaf cousin since he was two years old. So sign language was her second language.

I got this tattoo after she passed away as something I could carry with me everyday.

I put it on my left back shoulder so I could always feel like she was sending me ‘I love you’ signs down from heaven.

_______

A few weeks ago I hosted a business shoot for Emerson & Co. with my team of girls.

I really wanted to execute a vision I had that reminded me of my Mimi.

She grew up in Rhode Island, right across from Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Island.

My vision was a New England aesthetic, timeless, and filled with hydrangeas.

My lovely photographer @rebejohansenphoto shot this photo & when I got my pictures back this afternoon, I sobbed.

It was the little wink from my Mimi of how proud of me she is.

I built a business. I didn’t have a guide book or life coach. I had my dreams and my FAITH.

My faith that the Lord would lead me where He wanted me & use me for His glory.

& boy did He deliver.

My company has helped 19 couples since opening my business.

I can’t even put it into words.

19 couples who chose to trust me, invest in me, and want me to be apart of one of the most special days of their life.

I have endless gratitude to my couples & thank God everyday for the opportunity to serve people.

Sincerely,
A girl who just had a dream and finally pursued it
