COB Spotlight: Malia Narte 🌟
Hometown- Caldwell, Idaho
Major- Business Analytics & Data Science

“Before coming to u of I, I never really pictured myself joining a sorority and honestly didn’t think sorority life was for me. Coming to college and meeting so many new people completely changed my perspective and I decided to give greek life a chance, and I am so glad I did. Joining Kappa has given me some of the most meaningful friendships and best memories I’ve made in college. Meeting the girls in Kappa opened a door for me in college. I’m so grateful I took the chance to try something I never expected to be a part of, because Kappa has become such a special part of my college experience and has given me people I know I’ll cherish for the years even beyond my college experience”

This week’s “Why Kappa Wednesday” Rebecca Elmore 💌 @rebeccaelmoreee.

Class: Sophomore
Major: Criminology
Minor: Journalism

“Kappa has been such an immense joy and positive influence on my life in just one short year. High school was really hard for me, but I knew the moment that I set foot in Kappa, none of that mattered. The girls I’ve met here have shown me that I can truly be myself and be loved for it. They love me at my lowest, and make me want to strive to grow more and more each day at the very same time. Kappa has brought so many incredible women into my life I would’ve never known otherwise, and has given me the genuine friendships I have longed for for years”
