our first worship night!! this past friday was so much fun! what a joy to partner with @rebekahwrites @theblessing_church @contendprayermovement and bring people together to sing, dance, laugh, cry, fellowship and draw near to Jesus. to my dear kapwa, it has been an amazing two years with @filipinaontherise where I had the privilege of building this incredible community with @krystlbella!💛I will be transitioning out of the COO role to focus on my home city in San Francisco and will step up as the FOTR SF Bay Area Chapter lead as I continue to build community here 🌁and grow my own family.

The most precious gift I will take with me is the people I met through this heart work especially @edlineleatrice @alyzamaee TR @classroomflex @patriciadlion @1izsette and my San Diego & Bay Area girls (you know who you are♥️)

I love this journey from our amazing events in person and online, to our wild crowdfund, to building the soul sisterhood, and finally finishing up one last creative project with Hennessy (coming soon!!) it has been the most fun and rewarding role to be COO of this growing company💛🇵🇭

@krystlbella thank you for being the best partner, friend & soul sister it’s been the most inspiring time to connect our minds and grow this together 💕peep our first pic together 🥹

Finding your footing in this world is a forever evolving journey. 💫The beautiful thing is that there are so many different ways to capture our cultural essence. Filipina, Fil-Am, Filipinx, mixed, hapa, mestizo🇵🇭... what else?! Kultivated x KAL embraces and celebrates all of these. Meaning "cultivated by Katherine & Lauren" we are a Bay Area Filipina founded non-profit (soon to be official!) that does just that. Celebrates all mestiza voices, gifts, and crafts in cultivated community spaces across the Bay Area.

It’s summer time and everyone is out gallivanting around world ☀️🌏but it’s the perfect time to explore your own city! Kat is based in SF and planned a Meryenda Meet up with local travel pinay @avagailadventures and traveled the world through food with new friends! Here’s what we did to inspire your own Meryenda meet up

📍@abanicocoffeeroasters to start with coffee to go and explored Clarion Alley art walk full of local murals

📍@picapicaarepakitchen for arepas a Latin and Central American snack

📍@curryupnow for Indian street food

📍@dandelionchocolate for a sweet treat and free chocolate tasting

📍@senorsisig for Filipino inspired burritos and bowls (I got the Tosilog burrito!)

📍@biritesf local market for park provisions

📍ended the tour with a park picnic @doloresparktoday under the sun to share our bites and enjoy the day

It’s time to take the Meryenda meet up out of the apps and make it a reality!
