It was absolutely AMAZIN’ to attend @jesseleepeterson church service while we were traveling in the Los Angeles area this past weekend.

We truly appreciated JLP taking the time to talk with John and me & sharing advice that gave us a fresh perspective as we’ve been navigating some difficult conversations. We’ve had people question our faith, our decision to raise our daughter with traditional morals & values, and even try to define her as being more “Black” or “White” instead of embracing the beautiful combination of both of us.

Thank you, Jesse, your team, and your producers for the warm welcome. It was great seeing you again after five years!

It was also an incredible birthday experience for John to meet & spend time with someone who has had such a positive influence on his life. ❤️🎂

Grateful for the conversation, encouragement, and the reminder to stay true to our convictions.
