Meet the performers!! @rec_affect Rec Affect is an alt/punk band from Los Angeles, California comprised of vocalist/guitarist Jake Jones, drummer/vocalist Vee, and bassist/vocalist Donnavin Zepeda. Formed in 2021, their sound incorporates the raw, fun, yet aggressive feel you expect from a punk band, along with more serious emotional content, both lyrically and musically. Rec Affect brings this full spectrum to the stage with their high energy performance and audience interaction.

Rec Affect celebrated the release “Viewpoint,” a fan favorite and famously known as Jake’s mom Sheila’s favorite song, with a passionate performance last night, Thursday, August 27th, at the iconic Viper Room, a venue that has been most supportive of my boys! Crank this! And “Stream this shit!” as I shouted at the end.
