Happy Friday folks! We are here with some warm exciting news on a grey cold day! 😍

We are excited to share this season’s Island Morning Brew numbers with you! This holiday season, we have sold a whopping 937 bags of Island Morning Brew. This means that our total donation to the @theurhmpei this year is $9,370.00.

We want to thank each and every person who has purchased a bag of this year’s Island Morning Brew! We received a lot of great feedback about the lot from San Carlos Estate, but what we heard from you the most was that Island Morning Brew has become a holiday tradition for many people near and far!

Factoring in this year’s sales, Island Morning Brew has raised $71,490.00 for the Upper room food bank. It is hard to imagine that when we started this partnership with @cbcpei this would be the outcome. We cannot express our gratitude and appreciation of the support we have received from our community, from CBC PEI, and everyone else who has aided in this initiative.

Howdy Folks!

We have a new Receiver Choice Collection coffee on our shelves and online!

This micro lot comes from the Kiri Coffee Factory in Kirinyaga, Kenya. This coffee is full of complex fruit notes like dried citrus, juicy stone fruit, and cooked berries! The cup is packed with layers of chocolates and has a refreshing juicy acidity!

We want to thank our great pal @cohenmcdonald for the label design 🥰.

This is a limited run so be sure to get a bag before we run out! This is a perfect summer sipper!

Well folks, it’s hard to believe but tomorrow Receiver Coffee Company turns 10!📼☕️🫖🍪🥖🥐🍞🍳

In the spring of 2014, we were growing out of our little shop, ROW 142, and though we didn’t necessarily know what we were going to become, or how we were going to do it, we wanted a larger space to welcome more guests and share our coffee with them.

So, we rolled our coffee roaster and espresso machine down the street on a couple of skateboards into 128 Richmond street and knew we were home. On June 21st, 2014, we opened our doors for the first time to the public. We had no idea on that day the journey we were setting out on but we are so glad we made the jump into the unknown.

There have been many people on both sides of the bar that have made Receiver Coffee what it is today and we have made so many amazing memories in this special little shop. We are so thankful for you all and the support you have shown us this last decade and it’s hard to find the words to express the gratitude.

Thanks and appreciation go to our amazing community who have supported us for the past 10 years. How lucky we are 🥰🥹🥺😭🫡♥️😍😍😍.

Tomorrow we will be celebrating with:

The Launch of our Victoria Row Evening Menu 3pm-9pm *Closing at 10pm

Free 10oz drip coffee all day at our Victoria Row Location.

We will be bringing back some fan favourites for a few days:

-The Ham Slam: (It’s still an icon)
-Brussel Sprout, Pickled Pear, and Smoked Cheddar Grilled Cheese: This is one of our first ever menu items-IYKYK)
-Breakfast Nachos: (Need we say more?)
-The Breakfast Bake: (A real O.G, IYKYK, No, we didn’t keep the tiny casserole dishes that you may or may not have definitely burned your hands on).
The Fisherman’s Breakfast (get those mustard pickles).

Come on down Friday evening and help us cheers to ten years!

Howdy folks!

It may be hard to believe, but old Franny is right! A coffee scale is one of the best tools for improving your coffee game at home.

Consistency is exceptionally important when trying to dial in your recipe for all brew methods, specifically when you are trying to make grinder adjustments to bring out the best in your coffee!
