Hollywood is home. And this race is personal. ❤️🏡

I was born right here in District 3. I’m a husband, father, small business owner, and proud member of the community that has given my family so much. From serving on city and county boards to building a business and raising my kids here, I’ve spent my life invested in Hollywood’s future.

Now, I’m ready to put that experience to work for YOU.

My priorities are simple:
✅ Lower taxes and fees to keep Hollywood affordable.
🚔 Support public safety and our first responders.
🌧️ Fight neighborhood flooding** and strengthen our environmental resiliency.
🏗️ Demand responsible development that puts infrastructure and our neighborhoods first.

This campaign is about more than promises. It’s about respect, reform, and results for the people who call Hollywood home.

🗳️ EARLY VOTING STARTS TODAY! October 19–November 1, daily from 7 AM–7 PM. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.

🎉 👮 From “Take Your Kid to Work Days” at the old police station with my dad over 30 years ago, to serving on Hollywood’s General Obligation Bond Advisory Committee which helped oversee the new HPD headquarters’ construction, to the cutting of its ribbon…today was personal to me.

I could not be more proud of my city for prioritizing public safety, and I could not be more happy for Hollywood’s heroes in blue. You give us your best every day, and you deserve the best in return from our city and its leaders!

There’s nothing better than a summer weekend spent with family, friends, and neighbors. ☀️⚾️🌳

Elias proudly represented the City of Hollywood with the Hollywood Heat travel baseball team in Pinecrest. Watching him play alongside an incredible group of kids—and spending the day with so many real neighbors and real friends—is what makes this community so special.

These are the moments that remind me why I’m running: to keep Hollywood the kind of place where families can thrive, kids can grow, and lifelong friendships are made.

Because at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about. ❤️

This Father’s Day, I’m thinking about my dad, @recio1523. He gave 25 years to our city as a Hollywood police officer, then poured that same heart into our family bakery, @miramarbakery , on 441. He taught me what it means to show up for your community and serve the people around you every day.

Nearly 50 years later, our familia is still here — serving the same community that watched us grow up, graduate, raise families, and build memories around the table. From our CEO to staff, this bakery has always been powered by cafecito, corazón, and comunidad.
