We’re excited to announce an event that’s especially near and dear to our hearts — @recipe.site is launching their new platform and community cookbook at our Greenpoint location! Tickets include free access to Mixtures Vol. 1 — available at the link in bio!

Co-founders Alex and Conor are Index members who met at our space and began collaborating on RecipeSite, a platform that helps chefs and culinary creatives build beautiful websites, newsletters, and digital cookbooks. They’re joined by food creative @stephh_lau to co-host and mark the occasion!

Mixtures, the new RecipeSite cookbook, features recipes from across the burgeoning community. At the launch, we’ll have food prepared by cookbook contributors from their recipes, plus drinks and much celebration of our dear friends and day ones, Alex and Conor.

My recipe is a Plumple pie, a plum from summer and apple from fall, they kiss and get enveloped in a thick salty crumble! My faves from both seasons, best eaten in a transitional jacket with a good fall breeze kickin’.

I’m very happy to finally be sharing this recipe I contributed to ‘Mixtures Vol. 1’ with my take on season produce in dessert form. This is my Olive Oil Rye Cake with Vanilla Stewed Tomatoes (and Sour Whipped Cream).
