BVTW / 58 Fest 2K25 Season Opener @bimmers_united wrap up:
•
Our 3rd back to back trip to @maplegrove1320 began with a few goals:
• 1. Get PB’s for all vehicles racing
• 2. Go rounds with each class entry
• 3. Clean safe A-B passes the whole weekend
• 4. Further our relationships with the east coast community
• 5. Setup a vendor booth showcasing the builds we traveled with from MI and merchandise.
•
I am glad to report that all the goals were accomplished, with the exception of going rounds in competitive heads up racing. The classes were ran in full without matched pairs and judged based on times alone, without factoring in eliminations.
•
None the less we placed 2nd in the 9.0 index class with @a90_moe and are pretty sure we placed 1st in the stock / hybrid turbo class with @g80_vs_everybody and @b58.bloo was able to set multiple PB’s on the new setup, and caught a few win lights as well. Unfortunately unforeseen issues prevented @1masri340 @omare63s and @nick_.313 from competing in this event, but glad most of the cars and all of the owners were still there for the team.
•
This weekend was undoubtedly one of the largest learning experiences and team development exercises that we have ever partaken in. We are incredibly grateful for our warm welcome from the entire BU family: @bimmers_united @longislandbimmer @new_jersey_bimmers @phillybimmerclub
•
It was a pleasure to meet many of online acquaintances we have cherished and cement lasting friendships after all this time. To everyone who stopped by the FF booth to chat and to those who bought merchandise we thank you for your support!
•
We look forward to promoting the next event and look forward to seeing you all there!
