ITS A CHICAGO THING 👽🫶🏽🍺

October 23, should officially be Nirvana Day In Chicago.

On this date in Chicago History, October 23, 1993 - Nirvana played their final concert in Chicago, and one of their most memorable shows of all time.

A concert that was held LIVE from the now 100 Year Old, beyond Legendary, beyond Iconic, @aragonballroom in Chicago.

And you’ve gotta love the special tip of the cap that Kurt Cobain gave to @officialrobertenglund with the tribute to Freddy Krueger.

Sadly, Kurt Cobain passed away the following April….

This is Nirvana with “You Know You’re Right.”

In an unexpected turn of events @kittycraft_band has ended up on the “Billboard Charts”! Haha. Thank you to all the indie records stores that report and support!

The last time kitty Craft was on a “chart” of any kind was in early 1999. The College Music Journal (CMJ) was the place where college stations reported on-air plays, where Beats and Breaks from the Flower Patch got a little love.

We’re not sure what stores report to billboard - but shout out to a few of our faves tagged here! 😻

RECENZJA #494
Madball- Lp „Not your kingdom” (Nuclear Blast Records) 2026
By Adam Szulc Barber październik 2026

„Not your kingdom” to ich pierwsza płyta nagrana bez legendarnego basisty.

Dwa wcześniej zarzucone w sieć single to „Rebel kids” i „Tethered”.

I to te szybkie numery wypadają najgorzej.

As well as seeing my Welsh Songbird on Wednesday, I made a beeline to Farringdon to see my cousin, Rebecca at her new place of work. It was so lovely to catch up really quickly and see you flourishing in the big city! 🥰😘

I then ventured through Soho and visited some of the vinyl shops I follow on social media. I could’ve bought sooooo many in Rough Trade, some absolute bargains!! 😰🫣

I stumbled upon the Outernet Building adjacent to Tottenham Court Road station. A really fascinating feature! I could see why some people lay or sat there and immersed themselves in the visuals and sounds.

It would be rude not to have a nosey in Liberty with it being in arms reach of the Paladium itself ❤️
