Sobriety deserves to be celebrated. 🤘
Yesterday was National Sobriety Day—a reminder that choosing a different path takes courage, consistency, and a whole lot of showing up.

At Seagull’s, we believe bikes can be more than bikes. They can be an outlet, a reset, a community, and sometimes just a reason to get outside when you need one.

Whether you’re one day in, years in, supporting someone you love, or simply trying to build a better life—keep going.

There’s always
room in the flock. 🖤

Okay — deep breath. Strap in, because this is a long one.

3 years ago, Rob reached out and asked me to film a run from Vail to Aspen. Now, here we are, telling a similar story on different legs of the same journey.

This story has never really been mine to give away. It belongs to Rob, Creighton, their families, friends, and everyone in the @reconnected_foundation CREW who let us into their lives and trusted us with things that weren’t easy to say out loud. That trust is the whole film.

It also belongs to the people who built it with me. The shooters who stood in the cold through the middle of the night because the story didn’t stop when the sun went down.

@reconnected_foundation & @vailhealth being the driving force and biggest supporters behind this project from day one.

@robert_shearon we go back to preschool, man. I got to grow up with you and 30 years later, we’re here telling this story together. Hopefully saving lives. I’m so grateful and thankful to be on this ride with you.

@katierkess you showed up for me every single time. When I had a question, you’d find the answer. You’ve been there through all of it, and this project wouldn’t exist without you.

@leadvilleraceseries for putting on such an amazing event year after year. Your team was so accommodating.

@easyoutside @_seanosullivan__ @danielmilchev @jakerbones who never once asked why, just whose car we were taking.

@ellhoof who signed on for a 3-month gig on a video that was only supposed to be 20 minutes long 😬 you’re an incredible editor 🙏

@paul.w.dumas your GFX always seize to amazing me. A crucial piece to this doc!

@scottmitchellcomposer your music is brining such deeper connection to this project, thank you!

@jakebsorensen who gave the words on screen their own personality.

@morgankay.pdf whose poster I can’t wait to finally show you!

To the 50+ of you who joined the test screening, your feedback challenged us. You believed in it from its early stages and now this film is so much stronger.

This only scratched the surface of those we need to thank.

THE CREW premieres September 24th, 5:30 PM, at the Riverwalk Theater in Edwards, CO. Link in bio.

See you there 🤘
