Yall this is gonna get so sappy lmao but JOSH APPRECIATION / BIRTHDAY POST WOO You ever meet someone and just know that no matter what life throws at you, you and that person are going to be friends for life? That was me with Josh lmao. I call him the platonic love of my life but it really is so true. I could not have dealt with a lottt of stuff that I had to over the past year (and some change) without that boy. Whether its been the many nights watching some show on my old apartments living room couch (usually interspersed with me venting about life drama), being called up to his old apartment to help him cut his hair, BLEACHING our hair together, the many nights we go out together to terrorize the staff at some club, watching THEEE Lexi Love fall in love with him, trying to answer as many questions about Islam as possible (before eventually giving up and just calling my mom who actually IS a Sunday School teacher) and just listening to them have delightful conversations about religion, or watching him play kickball on Sunday mornings with his AMAZING team (I’m a BKE stan), getting to spend ANY time with him is an absolute blessing. He is truly just the most supportive friend, a light in any room he walks into, and someone that I’m feel no hesitation in calling a brother. Love you SOOO much bestie 💙💙 If you don’t fw Josh, I don’t fw you 🫵🏽🫪

today marks one year of Dirty Birdie!!! last may, I signed up to perform in Rooster Cage. that was my first time performing as Dirty Birdie. I entered the competition expecting to be eliminated early and have fun. I competed in four battles and earned second place. two months later, @nonapplicabl booked me to perform in Big Top. those two performances were the beginning of this amazing drag journey ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 I have met amazing people and performers. I have been touched by the kindness of people in this community. I have made incredible friends. I have celebrated and cried with friends and strangers alike. I love the Baltimore drag community and the people who help build it and keep it safe thank you to the producers that have booked me throughout this past year. I have loved working with all of you, and I am incredibly grateful ❤️‍🔥 finally, thank you to the beautiful @masc.eraaa for being by my side through everything ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 you help make all of this possible ❤️‍🔥 I love drag. I am so excited for all that I have planned. I can’t wait to show you all ❤️‍🔥🐦‍⬛🦚🐦‍🔥🦅🦩❤️‍🔥 with love, Dirty Birdie
