Postcards from our recent heli trip into the Cass Valley. It was low tide but we definitely made the most of it.

This is Bridie. She’s got a kind soul, a voice that should be recorded 24/7 and loves supporting women doing what they love. We should all be more like Bridie.

We got a heli into the Cass Valley near Mount Cook and this is what we did

@aidanjhaynes on the sensational piccies

Dropped off at the hut and organised a pickup for 3pm on Thursday

We were told to trust them if they didn’t show up, they would eventually 😂😂😂

Went up with a bunch of (experienced legends) and we read backcountry avalanche books when the weather wasn’t good.

My @garminau tracks my transition times when walking up the hill (and all my snack breaks)

What the heli

Our hut was beautiful and we had a couple friends come and visit. There’s a whole range of huts around the area so you can travel around for 5 days at minimum and not get bored of terrain.

My new bestie Kea

It was low tide, high vibe but we got some super fun springy turns in up top
