Finally found some time to convert the Mk12 over to 22 ARC… this setup is now rocking a 12.5” barrel from Shaw Custom Barrels. Is this the first 22 ARC Mk12?.. it’s the first one I’ve seen!🔥
________________________________

-6mm ARC vs 22 ARC-

• Bullet diameter and weight:
.22 ARC uses .224” bullets (typically 62–88 gr), while 6mm ARC uses .243” bullets (typically 100–110+ gr).

• Velocity and long-range performance:
.22 ARC delivers higher muzzle velocities (often 2,800–3,300+ fps) for a flatter trajectory inside ~600 yards; 6mm ARC has superior ballistic coefficients, better wind resistance, and more retained energy past 600–1,000 yards.

• Recoil and intended use:
.22 ARC has noticeably lower recoil and is optimized for varmint/predator work or flatter short-to-medium range shooting; 6mm ARC carries more downrange energy, making it more suitable for medium game and extended-range precision.

Strong-side and support-side work today from 17yds on a 2/3 IPSC steel target. There’s no guarantee that you’ll enter the fight with both hands available, or that they’ll even be operable. Can you get the job done with only your strong hand or, even more difficult, only your support hand???

Have you ever once tried to draw your pistol with your support hand? It’s awkward. Learn how to deploy your pistol in less-than-ideal conditions.

Shooting tight groups is cool, but there’s a lot more to surviving the fight than standing in a static position on a flat range and shooting a piece of paper. You may even have excellent footwork shooting on the move, but are you still applying additional pressure to your training regiment to increase your survivability in dynamic situations?

More products are coming in for the Weapon Mounted Laser Range Finder review. Budget edition. I’m looking forward to filming this with @gconnoyer. Both of us have quite a bit of time behind the Tango. Let’s see if there’s other options that give it a run for the money.
