📻 #HouseofOthers 150

💿 Based between Toronto and Berlin, @widdows95 delivers “House of Wisdom”, a sunrise deep house set recorded at Estrela Sound in Toronto.

🌅 The selection starts warm and soulful, gradually building through deeper grooves, jazzy elements and more rhythmic textures before picking up pace towards the second half. The energy keeps evolving rather than jumping between peaks, moving from a slow sunrise feeling into more driving, progressive and garage-influenced territory. With most of the tracks released in the last couple of years, the mix feels firmly connected to the current house landscape while still drawing on its earlier sounds.

💬 “Im happy this month to be a part of a global digital archive of others’ house mixes. It’s political to even be making mixes in this kind of world in which we live, celebrating and being visible online and IRL 24/7 365. <3 House’s not dead.... enjoy”

✨ Can simply being here be an act of resistance?
