This, my lovely Carolyn, our amazing family, dearest friends and sunshiny days make me very happy… oh, and fresh orange juice in the morning (I call it liquid sunshine).
🎩🤗🍊.
@r.gauthier Continuum or simply “C” is art first and then an all by hand incredibly detailed timepiece that I don’t wear to work because I would not be very productive that way as the mesmerizing details take me to a place where time stands still.
If I ever wandered into a place where time stood still and discovered that the Continuum, too, had decided to take the afternoon off I would not get anything done. Give me something incredible like this C and I’ll happily lose an afternoon. 🥰

Last night marked Meet-up 39 with the RedBar Crew Amsterdam and it turned out to be a fantastic evening. Always great to see collectors from different generations come together, sharing stories, passion, and pieces from their collections.

There was an impressive mix of brands on display, including vintage Omega, Cartier, Rolex and many more. What really stood out to me was the exceptional range of vintage Omega watches. The history and character behind those pieces sparked some truly engaging conversations.

I had a great time at the GTG, though it ran a bit late for me, it was absolutely worth it. From discovering beautiful watches to connecting with fellow enthusiasts, it was a relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds, a true reversible icon.

Powered by the manual-wind Calibre 854, it reveals two worlds:
a front dial with hours, minutes, and small seconds, and a reverse displaying a second time zone with a 24-hour indicator.
The Art Deco case flips in the signature Reverso style.

Founded in 1833 in Switzerland’s Vallée de Joux, Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced the Reverso in 1931 for polo players, a design created to protect the watch during matches, now an enduring symbol of innovation.

Timeless. Sophisticated. Unmistakably pink gold. ✨

One of my favorites watch on the Oysterflex band, this watch just hits different. Sporty yet refined, it’s perfect for any occasion. Had a great lunch with a customer at Van der Valk Lelystad, enjoying the buffet while the weather was on our side. Simple moments, great company, and a watch I truly appreciate. #rolex #watch #watches #watchesofinstagram #watchoftheday @redbarams @redbaramsterdam

With this Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, our dream of owning this legendary watch has finally come true. Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds in luxurious pink gold (47 × 28.3 mm) A true reversible icon.

Manual-wind Calibre 854 powers two dials: front with hours, minutes, and small seconds; reverse with a second time zone and 24-hour indicator. The Art Deco case flips over the signature Reverso way.

Jaeger-LeCoultre was founded in 1833 in Switzerland’s Vallée de Joux. In 1931, it created the legendary Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso for polo players, allowing the watch case to flip and protect the crystal during matches.

Timeless pink-gold sophistication.

Last night was Meet-up 38 of the RedBar Crew Amsterdam, and it was a really enjoyable evening. It was great to see watch collectors of all ages coming together again, sharing their passion and showing pieces from their collections.

There was a wide variety of brands on the table, but the standout for me was the remarkable historical selection of Omega watches. The depth and uniqueness of those pieces sparked a lot of good conversations.

I truly enjoyed the GTG. It did get quite late for me, but before heading home I had the chance to see many beautiful watches and spend time talking with fellow watch enthusiasts. A very nice and relaxed evening overall. #watch #watches #watchesofinstagram #horology #omega @redbarams @redbaramsterdam

Last Tuesday, the Chinese New Year celebration at Gassan Diamond Dam brought together tradition, community, and festive energy in a truly memorable way.

As the afternoon unfolded, the area around the dam transformed with vibrant red lanterns, decorative couplets, and the steady rhythm of drums echoing across the water. Families and visitors gathered to welcome the New Year, enjoying performances that symbolized good fortune, prosperity, and renewal. The sight of traditional dances against the backdrop of the dam created a striking blend of culture and landscape.

Beyond the festivities, I also had a nice conversation with a group of entrepeneurs from the real estate sector, which added a meaningful and personal touch to the day. I even had the chance to see some watches, making the experience feel both social and leisurely.

The event at Gassan Diamond Dam was not just a celebration, but a shared moment of reflection and optimism, marking the start of the New Year in a setting that felt both festive and serene. #gassandiamonds #gassan #watche #watches #chinesenewyear

This watch means more to me than just telling time.

I received this gold Seiko as a wedding gift from my parents-in-law in 1997, the year I came to the Netherlands from the Philippines after finishing my studies. That period of my life was full of change, a new marriage, a new country, a new beginning. This watch became part of that important chapter.

At that time, I was not really interested in watches. I didn’t think much about brands or collections. It was simply a beautiful gift, elegant and classic, with its gold bracelet and black dial. But as the years passed, I realized it carried something much deeper, emotional value.

Whenever I wear it, I remember where I started and the journey I made. It reminds me of family, love, and the courage it took to build a new life in a different country. Even after all these years, this Seiko is still in almost new condition, and I still wear it with pride. #seiko #watch #watches #watchesofinstagram #seikofansclubofficial
