Perhaps a year ago my father-in-law lost his Christopher Ward watch, a purple dial Twelve in titanium. He purchased it directly from @mikepearson6 at our first @redbarhouston meetup with the brand in February, 2024. My wife bought her Twelve that night as well. My father-in-law wasn’t one to lose things, so we scoured his house looking for it. We eventually gave up, figuring maybe it was stolen, inadvertently left at a nail salon or in a hotel room. My father-in-law passed away in May. While cleaning out his house, I unsnapped the side of a red, soft-sided suitcase to fold it up for storage… and there was his watch, wedged in the side! A minor thing, a watch, but in this case a wonderful memory of my wife’s dad. A few tears were shed, but they were happy tears. 🥲❤️ In loving memory of RL.

RedBar Houston welcomes Chase Mardis, founder of Forward Watch Co. in Houston, Texas. He’s the tall one with the cowboy hat. Steel cases, reliable Miyota movements, and dial designs with nods to Texas landmarks. Which design do you like best, The Gonzales, Bluebonnet, or Starts at Night? 👏👏👏👏 #forwardwatchco #redbarhouston #texaswatches

This Watch Felt Cheaper Than It Looked. It's so sad because they used to be a decent brand 20 years ago. Now most of their lineup us just gaudy junk. Except for a few pieces like the Pro Diver.

D to the O to the X to the A - RedBar Houston with DOXA! Michael @watchingthemap from @thewatchpreserve in Ft. Worth brought the full collection for us to enjoy. This teenage Clive Cussler fan loves the vintage-vibe, modern-made, color-choices-galore Swiss tool watch brand. The Caribbean blue dial models are deep-sea cool, but it’s hard not to go with their signature orange. Which color do you like best? #doxa #clivecussler #dirkpitt #doxawatches #redbarhouston

On Saturday, stories and timepieces filled the room. Thank you to @redbarhouston for bringing the community together at our Breitling Boutique in The Woodlands. The watches were remarkable — but the conversations outlasted them all. A 1967 Top Time beside this year’s model reminded us: some designs carry their own legacy, year after year. Here’s to the collectors, the first-timers, and everyone who carries a watch with a story. We’re honored to be the place you gather. #BreitlingBoutique #BreitlingTopTime #RedBarHouston #BreitlingTheWoodlands #ShopMarketStreet

My favorite release from Watches & Wonders 2026, the Vacheron Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points. 41mm diameter in titanium with full titanium bracelet plus two rubber straps. Based on the Dual Time “Everest” limited edition from several years ago. These new watches aren’t numbered, but they will surely by in limited supply. Which color would you choose, the green or white shown here, or the blue or brown dial versions? #zadokjewelers #vacheronconstantin #vacheronoverseas #watchobsession #watchesandwonders2026
