But it also reminded me how amazing, incredible, loving, caring & inspiring all of my friends & family are!! I love you all so much 💕 . I also made so many talented & creative new friends! *Beauty community news* After being sold to a private investment firm, late last year, it looks like the future of @thebodyshop is unclear. But what is very clear: we all know how we feel about @thebodyshop Thanks to this changemaker of a brand, I have been: *a brand makeup artist *a brand educator *an ambassador *a host & moderator *on countless global adventures (incl. France & Switzerland) *able to interview @SusanSarandon for the #StopSexTrafficking campaign (‼️) I've written and re-written this 20 times and what it boils down to is this: @TheBodyShop altered my career in a way I could not have guessed: it wasn't about makeup at all. It goes well beyond beauty. It is, in fact, about everything outside of oneself. It is about embracing the global community as one family. Your family. And working to make a difference for that family. It was rival @markatlush (co-founder of @lushcosmetics) quoted in thetimes.co.uk this week who put it BEST: "… no one can take away what was created at a company’s zenith … for without it, there wouldn’t be a #LUSH or B Corps today, and animal testing wouldn’t be on people’s minds.". Thanks to #NykebaKing for furthering this spark and sharing her love for this iconic & future (🤞🏼) #changemaker of a brand.
