Last week Redbud Classic Race Director Kristin Hersom presented Oklahoma Project Woman with a $20,000 check! Each year the Redbud Foundation chooses a beneficiary from a pool of applicants. Oklahoma Project Woman is so honored to receive this generous gift that can help us with approximately 100 patients.

Another 5k in the books! First race after having a baby and I can definitely say it was very humbling. 🤡😅 All in all, I am proud for just finishing. Not my best pace or time, but I’m so motivated to progress, feel better physically, get stronger, and just enjoy my running era. Time to train for the next race! At the end of the day it’s me against me. Let’s get it!😤 #5k #runningera #coolmomclub #raceday #redbudclassic 2026

Signed up for a 5K in December… trained exactly zero times 😅
But we showed up anyway.
Running a business, managing family life, and trying to be better humans in the middle of it all.

🇺🇸Today we were at the @redbudclassic #2026 with a warm 80 degree temperature and it was like being back home 🤣🤣🤣🤣 in fact, it would be something like a regular day in Venezuela 🤓🤓🤓🤓🔥🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

But the heat didn’t stop anyone! ...well, it did stop us hahaha so we just took some pictures and left. The test of the new camera was a success!!!!

Redbud Classic 5k 🌸

25:58 (8:22/mile)

Three and a half years since my last 5k, and this one was fun! Snagged a PR, placed 2nd in my age group, and 8th female overall. Switching gears from long runs to a little bit of speed was a nice change. Here’s to getting stronger and faster! 🏃🏽‍♀️
