The selection of this song was so purposeful & significant for a # of reasons…

First — I mean can you even with this wedding. Just LOVE it. Marci & I had a BLAST planning & designing her wedding. Like literally. We rocked this out in our true fashion — short timeline, glasses of wine, tons of texts & finishing each other sentences. We just get each other but that happens after working together for 7+ years & true friendship.

Second - the inspiration for the wedding design was a lounge/cabaret vibe down to the 64’ of banquettes for dinner seating and amazing band who had true bandstands & a Rat Pack aura

Third - My dad for 40+ years took his show “A Tribute to Nat King Cole” literally around the world. Some of my fondest memories were watching him perform this song. While Marci & I were in the thick of planning, my dad’s health declined. There was NOT one day she & I chatted that she didn’t start the convo without first asking about my dad 🫶🏽

That’s why I do this. It’s about relationships. It’s about creating the fabric of our memories. It’s about being intentional.

It’s hard to find the words to describe my gratitude for this show and this experience, but it has truly been so impactful to who I am as a person and how I view myself.
