Sometimes, the best way to reconnect is to disconnect.

One of the biggest takeaways from our mother-daughter wellness getaway in Mexico wasn’t just the fitness classes, spa treatments, or incredible food, it was how good it felt to simply be present.

Without even trying, we spent less time online and more time connecting with each other, reflecting on our goals, enjoying nature, and embracing the moment. It reminded me that in a world where we’re constantly connected, it’s so important to make time to slow down, reset, and reconnect with ourselves and the people we love.

This trip was exactly what we both needed, and it’s a memory we’ll cherish forever.

I shared all of our favourite experiences from this annual Wellness Getaway at @grandvelasmaya . So grateful to be invited and I got to take Dannica with me which made it even more special. 🙏🏽

From sound healing and wellness workshops to Michelin-starred dining, spa treatments, there were so many unforgettable moments that made this retreat so special.

Head to evolvemagazine.ca to read my latest article and discover why this was one of the most meaningful trips we’ve ever taken. @velasresorts has really nailed what a wellness retreat should be 💚✨

I had the best time recording the next episode of @reddingworth’s podcast! She’s ANOTHER example of how Gen-Zers are taking agency of their health, wellness, and future.

I loved our conversation, Redding! There’s so much more we could have covered, too! Episode dropping soon 🎙️👀💃
